We are arriving in Los Angeles Harbor - San Pedro on the Disney Wonder in September 2011 and are looking for a Shuttle from the port to our Anaheim Hotel. I have seen a few posts about these three shuttle services.

I was thinking Super Shuttle, as I have used them before, from LAX.

Please let me know if you have used any of these Shuttle Services and if you would recommend them.

Thank-you,

Tim

I always use SuperShuttle. Easy to book on line and have never had a problem or a miss on pickup or dropoff. Most recently used them to get home from the OC airport after our Wonder Alaska cruise a couple of weeks ago. Still as good as I remember.

Each van is actually independantly owned and the drivers subcontract back to SuperShuttle. Interesting concept. Not sure if everyone does it that way. The drivers actually purchase the vans from SuperShuttle so they are all built the same way.

I booked Karmel Shuttle for transport to/from our Mexican Riviera cruise in November. They allow you to book an exclusive van but also have non-exclusives. They are recommended on the Disneyland boards (we are doing Disneyland first) and other places. They don't troll around the airport trying to find other passengers and are a local company, so I felt comfortable with them. They offer a 10% AAA discount as well.

I contacted Zippy shuttle yesterday for a round trip estimate from our home(Ventura County) to LAX next month (45-60 min ride). They told me they no longer do vans unless it is a large party that fills the van or I could pay over $300 for just 2 adults!! No thanks...guess we will be moving on to a new shuttle company.

Why would you want a van for 2 adults? I can understand a company not wanting to tie up a larger vehicle for only two passengers. :confused3

I used Zippy for both from LAX to our hotel the day before and to the port the next day. Excellent!

I've used Suppershutle all but once, that one time I used the Disneyland bus. I have never had a problem with them also they were the only company I found that said they would call and except a non- US phone number.

We utilized Zippy from LAX to Disneyland property, from DL hotel to port, then port to LAX. They were very prompt and friendly. We had an excellent experience. Our cruise was March 2011.

I requested a quote from Zippy last night and received a response this morning that they no longer service the harbors.
