Good morning Goofs! I am feeling a little
today. My miles are soooo far off now, there is no recovering and....they dropped second crop hay yesterday which means my exercise tomorrow will be picking up another round of hay. I could just cry.
Tuesday, I got to the gym, did upper body
and hit the elliptical for 30 minutes and went 5.20 miles. Yesterday, I ran/walked at the track with my DS6 while DD13 did field hockey preseason for an hour and a half. I had 5 miles in an hour. Not my most stellar time but considering that DS went 1.75 miles of that with me....
My last mile was a 9:14 pace so I cannot complain....totally....well okay a little. I am going to try for 5-6 today and then tomorrow is a bust. Yes I get hours but no miles and no gym again and my upper body is already sore.
There, done venting...
Kim:
Yay for you signing up for the WDW half. This was my first half this past January. You will not regret your decision. Be sure to attend the WISH meet at Pop on Friday night and put faces to names. It will be great!!!
Suzanne: Yay for just rain. Glad to hear you are okay and were still able to exercise too!!
Mike: Tired, yikes, I would be napping the rest of the day. You sure are an Ironman!!
Beth: Did you say you were not consistent? You are one of the most consistent people I know!!! Are you gearing up for RnR VA Beach? Excited? I know I am for you!!
Susie: I started at 39. I had lost my dad to colon cancer and realized that the extra weight I was carrying was just not going to be good in the long run. My DH decided to go on South Beach and he lost 50 pounds. Me not so much so I figured I needed to start moving. My goal was to not be a fat 40. I feel that I have somewhat attained that goal but I still have about 5 pounds to lose to make me happy and 10 to make me feel really good about going into my 50s!!
To the rest of my Goofs:
Keep up the good work. You are all getting closer to a new year of health and well being every day that goes by!!!
