Hi! I was looking at the Onboard Gift section today on DCL website. Cakes have to be ordered before the ship sails (no less than 7 days before). Here is the cake order form.

Well, I think I have finally called and reserved everything I need to.

Airlines
Transport: MCO to RI, RI to Ship, Ship to MCO
Cruise (of course...lol)
Day Rate Room at Hyatt MCO as our flight does not leave until 7:50 PM. I have no intention of sitting in the airport for 6+ hours. I'd rather lay by the pool!

I have family driving us to the airport and picking us so don't have to worry about that expense!

How many more days?

Hi Denise! We are staying at the Residence Inn on Friday night as well. Do I need to arrange for the shuttle transportation ahead of time?? Thank you!

No, you can just do it at check in (I have confirmed this for you). They just added mine on since I was already booking round trip airport shuttle.

Anyone with tweenish boys. Some of ours have gotten together and are chatting using KIK. If anyone has a boy that would like to join them, PM me their username and I will have my Son add him in. If there are any parents of the tween girls, you may want to try and set one up with them. It is a nice way to meet before the cruise.

Sorry, but what is KIK? I have a 15 y.o. DD and it wld be great to connect her with other teens beforehand.

I just recently learned avoid KIK myself. It a message AP that doesn't require you to use a phone number. It can be downloaded onto a phone, iPad, iPod etc. Kinda cool. Like I said, some of the boys are using it now.

All the new englanders gave been off on February vacation this week. 3 days at a holiday inn on the cape for us! Oh, joy!!!

Yeah I can't remember the last winter we had this much snow...maybe 1995 or something? Not packing yet, Kathy, but starting to think about it for sure. Still too busy with work and winter sports. What is it like 90 degrees down there or something? You say you don't know what to do with the snow, but the last time I was in Dallas it was I swear 115 in the shade... Okay that was August, but still. Crazy.

February vacation for the kids almost over. Next stop...Port Canaveral!

We have had a few days of 70 degrees, now with the cold front we are back in the high 60's. But that is normal for us. There is no telling what we will have in the next few days. The saying in Texas is 'wait 5 minutes' and the weather will usually change.

Yes, we are also know for multiple over 100 degree days. We have had several summers with close to 100 days in a row of temps 100+
We had several last summer of 110 - 115. When we took a cruise that had us right at the equator, everyone was going on about how hot it was, but my DH and I were comfortable, especially since we knew it was hotter than that back home.

I guess it all comes down to what you are used to.
