Hi All,
My Family will be traveling on this cruise as well. We are Liz and Eric, and we have our two daughters as well: Abigail (14), and Emma (8). My parents will be along for the ride in the non connecting suite next door.
As this is our first cruise, and we're so far behind on the planning, we are not looking to join the FE. Love the idea however!
We have no booked any excursions yet, because we're not sure what we'd like to do in port yet. My parents are in South Africa for another week, so we can't coordinate with them until they get back. Any favorites??
I checked us all in this morning, and we're set to arrive at port at 10:45, but my parents are at 11. Can they come with us, or is it better to just aim for 11? I'd rather not try to trick the system!
Nice to 'see' so many families will be traveling with similarly aged children, ought to be a blast!.

Please add us to cruiser and FE lists, just got around to looking up the group on DISboards. We booked the first day it was available for Silver CC. This will be our 4th cruise. Wonder 2004 (1yr Anniversary), Dream 2011 (WDW Radio cruise 1.0), Fantasy 2013 (Easter), Magic booked for podcast cruise 5.0 in December 2014. I went to DISapalooza in December so I may have seen some of you. We have pre/post stays at AKL, our first time staying there so we're getting really excited!>)

This is our first Disney cruise. we took the kids to Disney about 1 1/2 years ago and resisted the urge to live there indefinitely!!!! that was the best vacation ever. they really know how to do it! we wanted to do something different and thought why not a cruise so here we are!!! I've learned about the fish extenders, still confused on how we join this. if someone could add us to a list or whatever we need to do that would be great. our family consists of me (lisa), jim (husband), nick (10) and Claire (6). we would like to participate in all things FEE. it sounds like a blast!! just started going thru all the posts but since they were started some time ago may take me awhile to figure out what is going on..... any help is appreciated.... I can't wait.

Has anyone ever shipped their FE gifts to the cruise terminal? I read on the Disboard you can ship them and they will be delivered to the stateroom. But the last update to the post was in 2009 and I wasn't sure if any of the policies changed. Here is the link, thanks!:

This was a post on the FE Facebook page today just some info to be cautious if you are going to send your FE's to the terminal

We just returned from our cruise on the Disney Magic. I shipped our FE gifts ahead (we had two cabins, and shipped two boxes). The boxes didn't arrive by the guaranteed 6 PM delivery times. I immediately started trying to work with Guest Services to locate them and was told they had not been loaded onto the ship despite having been received in the terminal 5 days earlier. Luckily I had taken a photo of the boxes prior to sending and showed it to a cast member in guest services mid day Saturday. She took a photo of the photo and sent it to inventory to have them look for it. Finally the box arrived at my stateroom early Saturday evening. While eventually they did find the boxes, I don't think they would have been properly delivered if I hadn't been so insistent that they keep looking for them. I share this as a cautionary tale for anyone planning to ship their FE items ahead.

Yet another FE Note:
To clarify for the actual split. Even though there are 45 cabins on the list, it will not be 3 lists of 15 cabins. There are several that want to give to all involved, so as of right now there are approximately 20 per list before I add the ones I am waiting for an answer from. It might grow to 23 or 24 cabins per list, but I will not know for sure until I hear from the ones I listed to be absolutely sure. If any of those listed are friends with you, please let them know I am waiting. I would like to get this finished sometime tomorrow at the latest.
