Super Bowl 44 Predictions

That makes no difference. This is our first Super Bowl and our fans would go anywhere.

There are limitations of where people would go though. If the Super Bowl 42 was on the east coast I would have been there to root on the giants, but there was no way that I could go to Arizona and not take a day off from work. I think that if it was up north more or on the west coast it would be different, you would see a lot more Colts fans there.

GAME DAY

I got my Eli Manning jersey (it's all in the family), hopefully we'll be seeing a lot of the Mannings during the game. The website bodog.com was placing bets on how many times CBS will show Archie, over/under at 4 and a half. I find it very ironic that one of the most popular players in Saints history won't even be cheering on the team in their first super bowl, kind of like the New England Patriot's QB being a Yankee fan

No surprise there, New Orleans is closer to Miami then Indianapolis.

Excuses I know that there are a lot of people out there that can't travel far from home. Steelers fans can, good for them, but I'm sure that if you placed this game somewhere other then the souteast there would be more Colts fans there. That's also based on the fast that Colts fans are spread out among the country, and that has a lot to do with Peyton Manning. Here in NY I know a nice amount of Colts fans and no Saints fans.

Like I said before, I would have LOVED to have been there at Super Bowl 42 but there was no way that I could have flown back home from Arizona on Sunday night to make it back to work on Monday with the time difference and distance. If that game was in Miami or Tampa or Atlanta, I could have done it. It doesn't make me any less of a fan that I couldn't be there.

The Saints fans understand where Archie's loyalties lay- wouldn't expect him to root against his own son In Archie's own words, "I will root for Peyton, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy for the Saints"...if Peyton's team wasn't playing, you know Archie would be rooting for the Saints.

The whole situation is still very ironic, of all of the teams the Saints could have faced in the Super Bowl it had to be the team that one of the most popular players in the team's history's son plays on.

What made me think of the Steelers also with similarities to the Saints was during the championship win, how everyone was whining that it was because of controversial calls by the refs that the Saints won.

Hmmmm sounds familar to us Steeler fans.

Hope the Saints don't have to play the Colts and the refs today.
