I don't know if it was a mistake or just good luck, but I just reserved a mid-size SUV in May from Alamo for $127.56 (before taxes). This was even cheaper than renting a compact ($139.00)!!

If you're going to WDW this May and you need a car, quick, run don't walk to the Alamo web site!! (BTW, I used a BJ's discount code.)

I just got an SUV Chevy Trailblazer at Alamo from 6/17 to 7/1 for 335.85 incl taxes. I think thats pretty good?

i was playing around with codes and just saved 70 bucks, the price is still high but i know it will go down, it chance, just keep trying, but i have a standard suv for a total of 507.00 right now, for dec 9-29 of 2006,

There is also a printable coupon on Mousesavers for an additional $15 off or 1 free day. You can get this discount along with all the other codes. We got the Equinox SUV for $290.00 for 12 days 5/28-6/9 everything included. Still watching to see if it goes down.

i was very pleased with renting from Alamo at Car Care Center in Nov. Efficient pick up from resort to get car and when we dropped the car off, they shuttled us to EPCOT which is where we wanted to be! Very easy! We only had a car for part of our stay because we used ME to and from airport...just wanted a car for the first 24 hours to get to grocery store and to dinner at CG.

i have used alamo in the past, i like that they take debit and credit, now they offer prepay which is one less thing to worry about as far as funds are concerned when you arrive, i have never had any problems with them, so i continue to only use them.

I always used National, but the Alamo rate was too good to pass up on our last trip. Noticed no difference in service or quality, even though I did have issues with Alamo seveal years ago, prior to National/Alamo having the same parent company.

I made my ressies thru Costco's website and was able to get a mid-sized SUV from 3/29-4/07 for $202.51 total (this was using the $25 off coupon also available on their website). I'll have to check some of the Mousesaver's codes to see if there's anything better.

Just reduced our Alamo car rental rate AGAIN since booking several weeks ago! I went to the Costco Travel site and got the same SUV (Chevy Equinox) for 12 days (5/28-6/9/06) for $275.00!! This rate included the $25.00 coupon on web page.

Since originally booking on Orbitz my rate was $337.00, then went down to $305.00 (Wal-Mart code) now $275.00 that's $62.00!!!! Don't you just love the DIS?
