Super 8 on Katella good/bad/ugly?

I mapquested both Super 8s....used 1313 Harbor for Disney's address and it marks it right where Disney Way and Harbor meet, so looks like it's pretty much at the security gate. Katella is .44 miles and Disneyland Drive is 2.19 miles. I think the reason it's labeling Disneyland Dr so much further is that the hotel is at the rear end of Disneyland and unless there is an entrance back there, you basically have to walk around Disneyland to the front of the park to get there. Now...if I'm wrong and there is an entrance back there, it might be shorter. Also, you could probably walk down Disneyland Drive along the same route as the trams take to DTD, but that doesn't look a lot shorter and certainly not .44 miles.

Could someone that has stayed at Katella Super 8 please tell me more about the "Super Start breakfast"? What types of food is available and anyone know the hours.....is it open early enough to eat and make rope drop? We typically stay at the Extended Stay for about $60 a night and it has a kitchenette so we can fix breakfast most mornings and dinner on occasion as well. But if Super 8 is $45 and includes breakfast it may be a better deal for short trips. The longer trips we get tired of eating out every night, lol.

The breakfast the couple of times I went was just cereal and donuts. Not sure what the hours are but we left the room at about 45 mins before rope drop and it was open.

Ok thanks...cereal and donuts don't do much for me, lol...so we'd probably never use them anyway.
