Can anyone who has stayed at this hotel tell me if there is a fridge & microwave in the rooms at the Super 8 on Ketella.

And anything else that might be helpful about this hotel & rooms. Looking at the rates we could save $100 staying here vs the Days Inn on Harbor. But we have to have a fridge & microwave for my vegan daughter who can't find much to eat in the parks. - Answer: Not in room, additional $8/night.

Additional Question:
I was looking at some photo's and it appeared that there was a microwave in the breakfast room. Is there on there? We could skip the expense of renting the micro/fridge if there was. We only need it to warm up my daughters food (lentils & veggies).

I just stayed there this last week! It was great, overall, for the price. No fridge/microwave, but we didn't spend enough time in the room to make it worthwhile to rent them.

We will be staying there in 2.5 weeks, do you think there is a specific part of the motel we should request if possible? Also do they have toiletries in the room like shampoo/soap or should we bring our own?
Thanks!

Definitely bring your toiletries! They had some shampoo and bar soap that were fine, but we're a shampoo and conditioner family, and they have to "match", so I didn't use the shampoo. The bar soap was fine. They also left a sample of toothpaste with a coupon, and (oddly!) Breathe-Right strips (you know, those outside-your-nose thingies??).

We stayed in room 285. It was fine. On the community board, I left a review in the "Pictures of DL hotels" thread (without pictures; oops!).

My biggest suggestion would be to bring earplugs if you need absolute quiet to sleep. The people in the parking lot, and passing our room, were pretty loud, and I could hear them over the fan we left going all night long.

We stayed there this past weekend. I love that hotel/motel. The spa and pool are nice and clean. We stayed in room 158. I always stay along that row. 158 is the last room though I would pick one along that row but alittle closer to the beginning at night we didnt like walking the whole row but the plus was no one was next to use on one side. Never asked about frig or microwave rentals. This was our 3rd time spending a couple nights there. There is a shuttle out front that take you to the park it is 4.00 for a day or 10.00 for 3 days really nice how you can use it all day for one price.

Does anyone know if you can park/check in early at the hotel like you can with Disney resorts to save on parking for the day? We'll be flying in and spending the first night near LAX with friends then heading over to the Super 8/DL the next morning early. Is it possible to check in or at least get a parking pass to save on the cost of parking at DL or shouldn't we even bother? Thanks!

When I called, I was told yes. They said that if a room was ready they would check us in then, otherwise they could give us a parking pass and hold our luggage.

There may well have been a microwave in there... I can't remember now (sorry!). That being said, the breakfast room is only open until 9am, after that it's all locked up. Not sure how late you would need to use it.

That would be fine. We would heat it up and then it goes in her insallated thermos until lunch or dinner. We did this last time we went to Disneyland and it worked great, but westayed at a different hotel and had a micro in the room with us.
