I am looking for the lowest price for Sunterra at Cypress Pointe in Lake Buena Vista. I am interested in the 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom unit. Has anyone stayed there recently or have plans on staying there, and can tell me how much they are paying and where they got their price? Thank you!

I haven't stayed there, but I was just poking around on www.hotelkingdom.com for April 19-26, 2003 and a 3 BR unit with them is $128.04 per night and a 2BR unit is $88.47 p/night. You should check your dates with them, they are very reputable.

Hi, I am also insterested in a 3 br unit here.

Hotelkingdom has a good price, but tomorrow I am calling Vacation Resort International.to see what their rates are.

Sunterra is listed on their website www.vrivacations.com

I stayed at Sunterra last Easter week. It was great. We had a 3 bedroom villa. It was very clean, and wekk kept. The staff was friendly.
My only complaint were the number of towels given.Other than tat, the kitchen was well stocked with paper products, dish washing liquid and garbage bags. The pool was clean and not crowded.
Enjoy!!!

Would it be too small for two families (each with two kids) to stay in a 3BR? We figure each set of adults in a room, and two kids in the 3rd BR and two on the couch (does it pull out?). Is the suite roomy enough?

I think that you would have plenty of room with 2 families in the 3 bedroom unit. No problem at all. And yes the couch does go into a bed too so there would be lots of room for you all. Happy planning!:)

I have recently stayed at the Sunterra Villas at Cypress Pointe, just got home on the 6th. We stayed in the new section-Grandvillas. We had a three bedroom / 3 bathroom unit. To our surprise, the third bedroom also came with its own kitchen area (fridge, oven, stove, sink) and a pull out couch(in the kitchen area). Of course it also had it's own bathroom. The master bedroom/bath combo was smaller than that in the old villas. There is room for 10 ppl in the new villas, there is room for 8 at the old ones, this is what I have experienced-che check it out . Plenty of room for two families!

I just wanted to add that last March when we stayed at the old villas, there was not a kitchen area in the third bedroom. There was not a pull out couch either, in the third bedroom- think they call that a lock-out. I don't know if all the units are the same at each set of Villas, I'd check that out before making a reservation. There was not a door on the commode part of the bathroom in either the master or third bedroom at the old villas. The new villas had a door on that area. The bathrooms in the master bath and third bedrooms on both the old and new areas are part of the room. There is more privacy with the new villas though. The shower is put in with the commode, so therefore there is a door to a separate area in the new villas in the master bathroom. The bathtub-jacuzzi is where there is no privacy from the bedroom in the master bathroom . There is a big glass window in the third bedroom at the GrandVillas separating the bedroom from the kitchen area, there is a blind that can be used for privacy, but you can see through the side of the blind and it does not reach the bottom of the window. At least ours didn't. The second bedroom in the new villas has a window in it , the one in the old villas do not. The third bedroom in the new villas has a queen bed, the one in the old one has a king bed.
The third bedroom/bathroom is the one bedroom unit. Instead of locking out the one bedroom they give you all the bedrooms. It is a combination of the two and one bedroom units.
Hope this helps. I don't know if all units are the same in both sets of Villas.
