What am I missing? I see people posting that they have made a lot on this site. I have been a member for a short time and I just dont see the huge earning potential. What do you guys do on here that is making you so much money?

I've wondered about that myself. I have tried doing surverys lately and have been doing okay. Most of the time it says they have no surveys that match me. I'm lucky to do 1 a day! I've done a little shopping through them and that helps too.

I'm new to Sunshine rewards also, and am curious how long it takes these people with large rewards to get there, but I'm not doing too bad and I usually only take 1 or 2 surveys a day. So far I like the set up and the forums seem to be a wealth of information. Hopefully one day I'll be posting about my large balance!

I basically use it for online shopping. I don't get huge rewards (about $50-75/year)...but it"s better than nothing. I think people used to do a lot of paid offers and surveys. There used to be more clicks too.

The surveys and the shopping is how I've earned my money. I just cashed out for $625 in gift cards. It took me about 5 months to get to that. If you qualify for every survey, you can make about $4 a day with those. There are "freebie" offers that you can earn some money too. There is an automatic credit thread on the forum, which lets you know which ones you should try and are crediting well. It took me awhile to get into the groove of things. But you really should join and read the forum. It is very helpful, and can answer lots of questions for you. What I like the most about it is that the customer service is fantastic. I went to college with Tricia, the owner, and she does whatever she can to help out her members. I do mypoints too, but the customer service there is LOUSY, so if I have any problems there, I am out of luck. Read the forum, and keep trying the surveys. I don't get all of them every day. I think if I get three in a day, I've done well. If I have more time, I keep trying. Once you get in the groove...it's great!

I'm been using Sunshine Rewards every day for 4 months now and have earned $384 from mostly surveys, a little shopping and some other offers. I do the 6 surveys every day and complete at least 4/day which comes to $2.60/day = $78 a month just from surveys. If you don't qualify keep trying, sometimes you have to go through 6-7 before you qualify. In July I earned $104. Sunshine is a great company, the owners are visible on the forum. And for sure go to the forum and read up on how to make it work. I love Sunshine Rewards.

I've been a member for a year and have earned $900. I'm not a big shopper, my earnings are from surveys. Don't give up. Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy. If you have questions just post in their forum, everyone there is so helpful. Good Luck!

i cashed out in april, 2009, for $650 in disney gift cards on SR, and that took me about 15 months. i have almost $480 now, and i do 1-3 surveys per day, and shopping here and there. hopefully, by the time we go to wdw again, i'll have enough to pay for our food and souvenirs. oh, and i cashed out for a $50 home depot gift card in april of this year to give to DH for father's day, so in total i've earned almost $530.

I looked at my earnings for August so far and I've made $93.71 through today. The breakdown is $67.40 from surveys and $22.79 from shopping and another $3.52 from offers and scratch off game. So about 70% of my earnings are from the daily surveys. I think this is about the norm for my monthly totals.

There are 6 different daily surveys that you can take through Sunshine Rewards. There are days where I can qualify and complete a survey on the first try in the morning. And other times that I have to try again in the afternoon and evening. The survey companies load their surveys at various times during the day so it never hurts to try again at a different time of day. You can continue trying until you are able to complete them. You can make anywhere from .60/day to $4/day depending on how many surveys you complete. So, it really depends on your demographics and how much time you are willing to invest.
You need to make sure to take your time and read the questions- some of the surveys have quality assurance things in their surveys. Some will kick you out if you are going too fast (not giving quality answers) and others may stick in a bogus question or answer to make sure you are reading and giving quality answers. If you are completing surveys and not receiving credit, you should check out the forum. There is a survey thread that will alert you to any temporary issues with the particular survey companies. Also, you'll want to check the settings on your computer to make sure something is not blocking your credits (deleting cookies, toolbars etc). There is a lot of information on computer settings on the forum.

The best thing to do is join their forum and read through the stickies- there is a lot of information to be gained there. If you can't find the answer to a question, be sure to ask- there is a wealth of information in the members there as well. It can take a little time to get the hang of things over there. I've been a member since they started back in 2006 and it's just part of a routine for me now. I have a certain order that I try for the surveys during the day and it works well for me- and I've made over $4000 with them that has all gone to Disney vacations!

I've been a member for a month and earned over $50 all from surveys and two or three offers. I did do some shopping but it hasn't hit my account yet.

All of the tips above are great. Just be persistant and don't give up! Every survey you do adds up! I'm aiming for a $500 Disney GC in the next year and have high hopes to exceed that.

I make sure to log on and do the game every day, but don't always have time for the surveys. I can go for days without qualifing for a survey and then like today, I got the first one I tried. I know some who can do all the surveys offered each day, but I just don't have time to do more then 1-2 depending on how long they are and how long it takes me to qualify.

Keep trying, I think it gets easier the more you try.

The only issue I have is that I have taken a few full surveys (20-25 minutes) and have been told I didn't qualify. Um...after I have answered every question I would hope I would get my credits.

I haven't made a ton all at once, but I've belonged since March '07 and I am happy with my earnings. I do a lot of online shopping, I go back and forth on surveys, currently I've been reserving hotels for DH's travel through a hotel booking site through them.


As others have said, READ the forums there. Absolutely invaluable!

I have been a member of SR for three years. I have earned $1813 as of today (with two 0.80 surveys that will credit on Monday, plus about $3 in pending shopping credits). My earnings range from $35-$65 per month in general, although some months I earn more or less (January is usually a bad month for me - no shopping!). I have been a supermember ($100 in earnings in a quarter) all but my first quarter, but I usually don't get much more than $125-150 per quarter.

SR offers six surveys per day, but I rarely get or even try for all six. I try to get one or two surveys every day. I do some online shopping, but I don't usually do many offers (although I love the Vista Print offers and have also done a book club and Netflix).

SR is not big on paid clicks or paid e-mails - the bulk of my earnings are from surveys, with some nice cashback at several merchants I shop anyway. It takes some time and dedication to earn money at SR - you can't just log in to the site and pick up some cash. The forum has been incredibly helpful in allowing me to figure out how to earn money there, and the customer service is the greatest and is very personal - Tricia posts in the forum almost every day. Mainly, it is a fun place to hang out, with games and contests and a group of amazingly helpful people.

Yeah, if you are getting kicked out after that amount of time, you are probably flunking the quality control, usually by going too fast. Make sure to read every word (s l o w l y) and watch out for the questions that say "For security purposes, please enter a 3 in this row" - they are checking to see if you are reading. I had a really sneaky one once that had a long paragraph about reading carefully and it said to ignore the question being asked below and to select a certain answer (which totally would not have been the answer to the question asked). If you just skimmed the paragraph about reading carefully, you would get kicked out by answering the question correctly.

Sometimes there are bad surveys that will ask the demographic questions at the end and kick you out then, but almost all of them determine in the beginning if you qualify, then ask other demo questions at the end.

I think it really really depends upon your demographic. I tried every day for a month with every single survey they offered me and did not qualify for a single survey. I'd spend 10-15 minutes filling out the qualifying part of the survey and then boop I'd be popped out as a non-qualifier.

I also do slow and steady..of course pretty slow and less steady than some. I so far have a $100 Disney GC and will be ready to cash out another as soon as the credits clear.
I used to use hotels.com through SR. but discovered that I liked the stay 10 get 1 free deal better direct through Hotels.com. You can't do both..If you book through SR it takes you to a different booking area and you can't sign in to get your Hotels.com rewards. I really need to spend more time trying for surveys and reading the forum for more ideas...just got an email that said you get some sort of credits for printing and using coupons.com coupons through them..never knew that.
The thing with surveys that drives me NUTS is you go through all the qualifying stuff..and it says it has a survery for you. Then you answer lots more qualifying stuff then after all that it says you DON'T qualify..grrr..
