Sunshine rewards Newbie

I signed up for Sunshine a few weeks back. I started researching it further and discovered that I missed out on a lot of credits for purchases I made just in the last week.

I want to get an i-tunes gift card for someone. I am having a hard time trying to get that to work. Any suggestions? I am new to all of this so it could be something I am overlooking.

Normally what you do is go under the shopping section at SR and click on the store name that you want to shop through. When the next screen opens, you click the box for your store and a second window opens which should be the store you selected.

In orde to get credit, you REALLY have to make sure that all of your computer cookies are cleaned out before shopping.

I suggest you down load CCleaner (cookie cleaner program.) There is a link somewhere on the SR forum or you can Google it. I always look around a shopping site so I know what I want - but do not place anything in the shopping basket. I then close the site, run CCleaner, go back and buy. Save your confirmation e-mail - if you do not receive credit, you will need it to file a Trouble Ticket (request for SR to research and attempt to get your credit.) Happy Sunshining!

I think your issue may be that you are trying to purchase the card through the wrong site. SR has both Itunes and Apple Store. I can't remember which one works but I think it is the Apple Store you need to purchase the gift card through and not Itunes. OR if you tried it that way then try swapping and doing the other one I can't remember which way but I remember having issues and it was because I was trying to order through the wrong link. One is for getting songs and downloads and i think the other (Apple Store) is for gift cards, merchandise and products. I think though that the AS pays a lower percentage than Itunes which pays 3% for the d/l's. I love both though and they credit VERY well for me. I have never lost a credit with them and I purchase from both alot.

Both of your replies are just what I needed. I didn't know I could get a credit if It doesn't show up in pending. I just thought that I would lose out. Thanks.
