?? Sunset safari

I have booked both the sunset and sunrise safari with AKL conceirge for my upcoming trip, I am not sure I want to do the Sunset safari solo,has anyone ever done the safari solo?I know you eat family style with other people and I am not sure if I would prefer eating a nice meal at Jiko alone,also I can't eat that much at one time and really look forward to my leftovers.Is the sunset safari really worth the $150.00 they charge.Does anyone know what they currently serve at Jiko following the safari?

yes it's worth it and yes I'd do it solo. The meal is served family style and with my group we all were very chatty with each other.

When I did it you got family style platters with differnt appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I remember the maize tamales and varios dips for appetizers. ENtrees I know we had a chicken dish, monkfish (not sure if they serve monkfish anymore) and the filet with mac and cheese.

Desserts were a hodgepodge of current offerings and then the chef brought us a new dessert he was tring out.

Also had plenty of wine with each course...yum
