Any suggestions for sunscreen? Last visit the Coppertone we used caused every white shirt to turn brown anywhere the sun screen touched. Thanks

I generally wear sunblock designed for babies. It has a high SPF, tends to be waterproof, and is usually unscented or has a very mild scent. The brand doesn't seem to matter much for me. I've never had a problem with it marking my clothes.

And of course, I always wear lip balm or lipstick with SPF.

We always go with a mineral sunscreen. There are a bunch of good brands - we've gotten to like Blue Lizard, but we've used several others and been happy with the ones we've tried. Definitely won't turn anything brown.

Target SPF 50, I think it's a sport formula. It's never discolored our clothing. We spray before we go out, and carry lotion to reapply later. I'll also buy the Coppertone baby formula if it's on sale.

I agree above with Blue Lizard Sensitive as the best option. I prefer mineral sunscreens, but when I go, I actually use the CVS mineral face sunscreen. It is a lighter formula and doesn't have any bad chemicals. You want to try to avoid oxybenzone if at all possible.

We bought the spray on high SPF. I burn easily, and put it on religiously every morning for 2 weeks. I was in a whelelchair and one day got a slight burn on the top of one knee. I must have missed or the wind caught it when I sprayed. Aside from that one time no burns. I didn't wear a hat or anything else.

I hate lotion sunscreen, so when DH found the spray at Walmart I was grateful. We went through a lot of it even just using once a day, and we just grabbed whatever brand was cheapest, but it definitely worked

This!
I was always a Banana Boat Baby Formula girl until a friend and I cruised together and she had this Target spray. I am a convert.

I'm very sensitive to sunscreen and I've tried about a million kinds to find something that doesn't break me out. I finally found Coola. They make lotion and spray - I use the spray. They have unscented but the scented one is nice and doesn't bother my skin. It dries pretty much instantly and doesn't stain anything and last a long time. My DD who also has sensitive skin can use it, she can also use Blue Lizard, it just takes so long to rub in, I like how quick and easy it is to use the spray. The only bad thing is it's about $30 a can :( but I've tried all the drugstore brands and other pricey brands and I get rashes and even feel light headed and sick to my stomach.

I'm a big fan of sun bum. I have loved all of their products I've tried.

I also really like coola brand makeup setting spray.

And I've recently gotten into Asian sunscreen. The one I'm using now is missha. They have great options with a high spf but aren't greasy. Some are sweat proof. They seriously don't feel like you have sunscreen on, or make your face white like other physical options sometimes do.

We use Neutrogena for our face & a Coppertone spray for our bodies.. Which we reapply every couple hours (we go in Aug) And nothing has ever stained our clothes and we've never gotten a burn (knock on wood)

We used Blue Lizard last July and no sunburns. We also have sensitive skin.

I am going to check out coola. Having a spray would be nice!

It's great. The Pina Colada scent is my favorite, it's SPF 30. The can lasts a good bit longer than some sprays, we just make sure to put in on indoors if there is any kind of a breeze to keep from wasting it. They also have an unscented version which only comes in SPF 50.

Is Coola really worth the price?? $36 for one tube of sunscreen is a lot!

I have used Neutrogena for years, but I'm looking for something better for my face. The regular sunscreens look horrible with makeup.
