Sunscreen in Dec.?

ABSOLUTELY!

I wear sunscreen on my face EVERY DAY here in Massachusetts.

You can still get sunburned regardless of temperature.

Yes, yes, yes! Especially if you have fair skin. I've gotten some terrible sunburns in the winter months, mainly because my skin isn't used to being so exposed in Dec. Also, sunblock is just always a good idea for everyone. :sunny:

I would say yes, but only on the exposed areas and not to worry about re-applying it every couple of hours or so. When we went in August we re-applied every 2 hours 'cause we were sweating so much. We usually go in Jan and while we get hot, we don't SWEAT to death!!! In Jan we apply in morning, and that's about it. But that's because we nap in afternoons (we usually leave parks by 12 noon) and then go back into parks around 3:30 to 4:00. Of course if we're at the water parks, or at the pool we put on sunscreen then too. We've never gotten burned or pink or anything while at Disney!

YES! Use the quick dry stuff though, That way you get to the parks faster!

I personally don't need it in December, but if you're not from Florida and not used to the sun you probably should. Put it on high exposed areas such as ears, face, and back of your neck. The sun isn't nearly as bad in December as in the summer.

Yes, bring the sunscreen. Make sure it can protect you from UVA and UVB rays of the sun. I wear sunscreen all year long and I live in Massachusetts too just like Debster812. Being a licesnsed esthician I know what the effects of the sun can do. Believe me even knowing the risks I do like it when I have a little color on my cheeks ;) but we must protect ourselves daily. Don't forget to put it on your ears if you'll be wearing hats and on your hands. I know it sounds silly but it will help prevent your hands from aging.

Have a blast! :cool1:

Definitely bring sunscreen! I apply it every day just as part of my normal routine anyway. My DH did not wear sunscreen on our trip last December, and he got a sunburn on his nose (he said it was a "wind burn" but it was a sun burn!). I like the spray on suncreens because they are light and fast to apply--we use clinique brand.

ABSOLUTELY!

I live here in FL and my son had all day marching band camp on Sat. 11/12/05. It was cool outside and the kids did not think about sunscreen. Needless to say, they all got sun-burned and we are talking about Floridian kids that are used to the sun exposure. :sunny:

Thanks everyone! I of course use daily sunscreen on my face. But now I can plan for the rest of the family. Adding sunscreen to my packing list as I write this!
