We arrive Saturday @ 10am via magical express. We are flying SW. Can we take a regular size, not travel size sunscreen in our carry on? We are hoping to go to the pool shortly after arriving, and know it can take up to 3 hours for our luggage to get to our room.

As long as it's under 3oz you can. Anything bigger they make you toss it. I'd stock up on the travel size :) Or just buy at the resort.

Nope. It must be less than 3.4 oz. and be in your quart-sized ziplock bag.

You can also buy an empty travel-sized bottle for a dollar or so and put sunscreen from your larger container into that. If you need a lot of sunscreen, you can have multiple smaller bottles, as long as they all fit in your 1-quart baggie. 1 ziplock baggie per person can be carried on.

DH and I go to Aruba over Labor Day weekend each year. I am one of the fairest skinned (DH says pasty) girls you'll ever meet, and I could burst into flames in Aruba with the sun exposure. I found these in the travel section on Target once, but then also found them on drugstore.com. We travel strictly carryon only when we go to Aruba, and I'm able to get our toiletries and 6 mini spray sunscreens into our 2 quart sized baggies.

Absolutely! I buy 100ml containers in the travel section of my local grocery store, decant a big bottle into those, and put them in one of our 311 baggies. Works wonderfully.

I learned that the hard way. I was moving stuff around last minute and put a $18 tube of Clinique sunscreen in my carryon, well over 3.4oz. It was tossed.

Drugstore.com only had my sunscreen in small bottles for my last trip, so I got two and put them in my ziploc bag. In the past I have purchased a larger bottle down there and carried it around in my bag at the parks. It was so much nicer to have a lighter weight bottle in my park bag! Never dawned on me to pour from a big bottle into an empty small bottle.

The Neutrogena sunscreen tubes I get at Costco are 3 oz. I do carryon only when I go solo to Disney.

Since an application sunscreen should be 1 Oz I assume some of you are doing very short trips. (If not I learned the hard way too, I have a good skin cancer specialist)

Not necessarily. I pack a full size bottle in my checked bag, and put a 3 oz bottle, plus a stick, in my carry on bag. Or, if you are trying to get away without checking bags, you can send a box of supplies ahead to your resort. Or even suck it up and buy it while you are at WDW. No reason to go without sunscreen.

OP...I'm sure that a 3oz sized bottle would be more than enough for 2 people until your bags arrive. If more than 2 people bring additional 3oz bottles.
