Sunrise Safari Question

Hi, I am going to the Animal Kingdom Lodge in February. I called to booked the Sunrise Safari for my daughter (8) and I. CM wanted to know why my husband and son are not going. My son is one and I thought he was too young to enjoy this. CM said not so little ones go all the time so I booked it for everyone but am still having second thoughts.

Has anyone gone and did they bring along young ones? Any advice would be greatly apprecited. Thank you.
