Sunrise Safari on Thanksgiving?

So I know I can call member services in the morning and ask about this, but with the holiday craziness, I will probably not get to call them until next week. So I thought I'd ask you. Does anyone know if AKL runs the Sunrise Safari on Thanksgiving? I just booked AKL Club level for next Thanksgiving. We'll be there Tuesday through Saturday. Since the Safari only runs on Thursdays and Sundays, that means we would have to do it on Thanksgiving day. I'm willing, but I just wonder if they actually run it then. Have never done the Sunrise Safari and would love to get to do it.

MS is unlikely to know the answer. You should call the AKL/AKV Resort Concierge Itinerary Planning Office at 407-938-4755 as they are the ones that book to tour.

The Itinerary Planning Office (IPO) at AKL/AKV can book all of your dining and tour reservations for you. Call or e-mail them before the 180 day window opens and let them know what you want. They will e-mail you a listing of all of those that they reserved for you.

LOL! I just spoke to the Itinerary Planning office for AKV. I asked the CM my question and he said, "well let me get my calendar and see if Thanksgiving is on a Thursday next year. Just a moment." I politely told him that yes, Thanksgiving will be on a Thursday next year.

He said the Sunrise Safari does run on holidays, so we are all set. Thanks for the phone number.
