Sunrise at AKL

We were thinking about waking up to watch the sunrise one morning during our AKL stay (will be at AKL in roughly 11 days).

Anyone ever watched the sunrise over the savannah? If so, any particular section of the resort we should go to to watch it? We would love to just watch from our balcony, but I'm not sure yet which savannah we will be in.

Also, how can I find out what time is sunrise for a particular day-just a basic weather website? Does front desk generally have this info?
