One of the things I love most about Disney is the fact that you always have a different experience every time you go! We live 2 hours North of the House of Mouse and of course have annual passes. Yesterday at 9:00am my 4 year old said "Let's go to Mickey on the Mountain"! That is a reference to the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios. I looked at DH and we packed up our crew, well most of us, and drove 2 hours to arrive at Disney just before 1:00pm.
At Hollywood studios there was not anywhere in particular I wanted to eat. So we went ahead and had a meal at the Launchpad next to the Star Wars rides/show. I highly recommend the adult nuggets. It was enough food for me to be full, share with my 1 year old, and have some left over! Plus they have a drink fountain so FREE REFILLS!!!
We let my 4 year old plan the day so we of course visited all the Star Wars attractions, then the rain hit! It was pouring cats and dogs! We were in no danger of melting so we walked around until the bottom let out. Then we took shelter next to The Toy Story ride. This was actually rather interesting. Where we were standing was the exit to an attraction. I just do not know what attraction. I pulled up my Disney App, and it was not listed. Anyone know? Its right next to the Toy Story Mania, not on the side where the restrooms are, on the other side. Where we were standing you could see the Buzz and Woody meet and Greet.
Anywho, the rain let up and we went over to see our favorite Wookie, but since we have seen him before I skipped the 30 minute wait and went on over to get in line for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! We had a fastpass, otherwise I proab would have let my son wait to see Chewy hahaa. Fun Fact, if you are the first child in the Fastpass line to see the show you get a certificate and they have you knock on the door and say the secret password to open up the clubhouse! My son was soooo stoked! My one year old was even dancing once we were in the clubhouse! After we made sure to get pics with Pluto!
All in all it was a great relaxing day! We left at 7:00pm after some shopping at Mickey of Hollywood! If you find yourself with a few hours to spare I encourage you to hit up the parks, relax, do a few rides, and take the time to really enjoy the details in the park!
