Hi! We usually go the first full week of December. It has always been great with the exception of the CP. Really light crowds. My question is about the Sunday following Turkey Day and the rest of the week as well. Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

We have spent Thanksgiving and the week following and the crowds were very light. Very comperable to the first 2 weeks of December....we ate our Turkey dinner at Goofy's Kitchen...YUMMY!!
Have fun!

I am thinking about going during Thanksgiving weekend this year. Did Goofy's do anything special for Thanksgiving or is it just the regular stuff? Can you please tell me what type of food they served when you went? Thanks!

They did the typical menu that they always serve which included carved Turkey Breast but did not have the "traditional" foods that we normally serve. We did enjoy it very much and the y have a great selection. Try going to Allears.net and clicking on the Disneyland link from the home page. From there click on the menus. This should help you with the selection.

I would recommend this as the best Character Dining experience at DLR. We always make it a point to eat here because everyone gets to see favorites. We have seen Gene, Aladdin, Mad Hatter, Goofy, Minnie, Mulan, Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Pluto, Max, Cruella, Alice, Chip and Dale, Jasmine and I am sure that I am missing someone!

Have a Great Time!!;)

Hey Sac neighbor,
We will be there the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Monday and Tuesday. Glad to hear it's light crowds. Anyone else find Saturday and Sunday crowded?

Last year we left Modesto on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Traffic on 5 was THE WORST! It took us 3 extra hours to get to Disneyland. Traffic was pretty much stop/go from Patterson to the Grapevine. If we do that trip again this year - we will leave verrrry early in the AM.
