Sunburns, cold water, and magical memories.....my April 2011 TR~UPDATED 7/8/11!! (:

Day 3: Will the hot water last?!?!?!?!

We woke up bright and early at 6:30 again to get ready for Epcot today!! Epcot is my second favorite park, so I was excited. My dad was yet again the first one to get up, so he went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and get cleaned up.....etc. Guess what? We had no hot water......again. This was the second day in a row without it! I'm pretty sure none of us were happy campers. My dad went ahead and took a shower in the cold water, anyway. I think the rest of us were still just laying around, but my mom got up to get her glasses and turn on the television. When she got her glasses on, she noticed we had a message flashing on our in-room phone. Just like me, she was expecting it to be the regular daily update on weather and park hours. Jordan and I were up and talking by now, and while she was listening to the message, she suddenly told us to be quiet. I was getting pretty anxious about the message. She hung up the phone and told us that we could get switched rooms into the main building!!!!! We normally stay there anyways on our trips to the GF, and we know all of the concierge people that work on the 3rd floor. One of them, Dan, got us a room on the 4th floor if we were willing to switch. It's nice to have friends in high places. (:

I was sooooo excited about this!! Honestly, I was kinda hoping for an upgrade this trip, and I finally got it. My dad got out of the shower, and my mom told him the news. He was glad, too, but wanted to listen to the message himself, just to make sure. My mom was right, so we all decided to hurry up and get ready, that way we could pack up our stuff and move into the main building. I got ready first, and then went with my dad to go talk to Dan in concierge.

He and my dad talked about many things for a while, and then finally got around to talking about our new room. It wasn't ready yet, but since we were already packed and everything, the Grand Flo would put our luggage into storage. My dad and I decided to even eat in the main building beneficial concierge breakfast, just because it would be easier with the monorail stop going to Epcot! (Not to mention, we were ecstatic about the move to the main building)

My dad and I walked back over to the Sugar Loaf, and surprisingly, everyone was ready to go. He decided to stay and wait for a bellhop to pick up our luggage, and the rest of us to go ahead and eat. He wanted to meet us up there later. I took a picture of our original view from the Sugar Loaf before we left! Trust me.....it's really nothing special.

P4270900-1.jpg

We took the elevator up to the 4th floor, where breakfast was being served. I got my usual blueberry muffin and strawberry yogurt. We hadn't been eating for long, when my dad finally got there. We ate fairly quickly, and before we left to the monorail station, my mom had to talk to the serving ladies. Yes.....she knows them ,too. It kinda makes you feel like royalty when all these people who work at the Grand Floridian know who you are.

I'm pretty sure once we got down the monorail station outside the Grand Flo, the monorail was just arriving. Perfect timing, again! We took the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center. We walked down ramps to the Epcot part of the TTC. I was already dreading coming back up the ramps when we go back to the hotel. We had to wait a few minutes before a monorail showed up, but it was still a little before 9:00, so we were pretty okay on time. And.....it was the Tron-o-rail! I haven't actually seen Tron, but I think this monorail looks cool!

P1030198.jpg

So, we took the ride around Epcot in the Tronorail, and we finally got off at exactly 9:00. I was pretty pleased with the time we got there. My mom had to yet again go through bag check, so the rest of us went to the other entrance. We found an empty turnstyle area to go to, so we walked right through to the big, giant, golf ball! (jk....i really don't call it that!) They had Toy Story topiaries out in front, so I loved that. Toy Story is my favorite movie! (: I had to take some pictures!

P4270933-1.jpg

It was pretty windy, but besides that the weather was pretty nice at the moment. My dad wanted to go get fastpasses for Soarin', while my mom and Jordan went to Test Track. They would meet up with us and we would ride it all at once. So, my dad and I were off to get fastpasses. I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm pretty short. Anyway, my dad is a pro at speed walking and weaving his way through the crowds. And, let me tell ya....he was speed walking!! I was basically having to run to keep up with him. My legs were burning before we even got up to the Land pavillion. Once we got to the incline leading up to The Land, I was seriously contemplating crawling up there. But, I ended up making it. Once we got into the building, we took the steps down to Soarin's entrance. At least we were going down. lol

P4270907.jpg

We got our fastpasses with ease and were out the door. We got outside, and weaved through some more crowds. A lot of them were LSU fans. We were seeing them everywhere this trip! It was still a little windy, but the sun was out a little more, so I was pleased. My dad and I took a short cut through Mouse Gear to Test Track. Honestly, it saves a ton of time, you get to see all the cool merchandise, and it's air conditioned. We ended up right in front of Test Track, so it was pretty nice. My mom called me right as we walked up, and she saw us coming towards them. That's how it normally works out. The wait time was 10 minutes, so we got right into it. Test Track is one of my favorite things at Epcot. I <3 it!

P1030637.jpg

P1030201.jpg

P1030636.jpg

We walked right on TT, and even skipped the briefing room! I have never gotten on Test Track without watching the video before. It wasn't my favorite part of the ride, but it sets the mood. We were in a car all to ourself, so that was nice. The bumpy road part always reminds me of the roads back home in Tennessee. Well, our roads aren't that bad, but they are similar to that. My favorite part is definitely the fastest part of the ride! That is awesome!

P1030638.jpg

(yeah....he's wearing a Duke shirt. It doesn't really make any sense, I know)

It was still a little while before World Showcase opened, and Jordan wanted to ride Figment:Journey Into Imagination. I don't know why, but he loves this ride. It's kinda cute, but not my all-time favorite. This ride was a walk-on, but seriously, when is it not? My dad always likes the skunk part, but he likes the smell of skunks.

P4270905.jpg

Captain EO was right below Figment, and my dad wanted to see it. I had never seen this before, and was kinda hesitant to see it because I had heard mixed views about it. He kept on saying it was a classic, and it would probably be gone fairly soon. While we were having this conversation, my mom was getting texts from my Aunt Pam, telling us about the severe storms we were having back home in Tennessee. They think there was a tornado spotted somewhere close to my hometown. My mom was fretting over this, and was continuously texting my aunt. I was worried for my family at home, too, but was glad we were at Disney instead of suffering through all those storms. We went on to Captain EO and took our seats. The guy doing the introduction for the actual show said it was 70 minutes! I was like WHAT?!?!?! But, thankfully it was just 10. I think I misheard him. My mom texted during the entire show. I understand it was kinda important, but I never text during rides/shows. I kept on trying to tell her it was rude, but she didn't really listen to me.

P4270906.jpg

We got out of Captain EO, and I asked my dad, "Did you like it?" He said "no." I was like whaaa? He acted all gung-ho about seeing it before we got in, but he didn't like it. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Our Soarin' fastpasses finally came into use, so we headed back over to The Land again. My mom was still texting away. Once we got into the Soarin' queue, she stopped, though. When we got to the part of the line where the ride attendant puts you into rows, I requested my family to be in the front row. I feel that is the best experience. I always like watching that preshow video where that guy always tells you to "Remove all hats, glasses, and these little beauties." We made it all the way through the ride without my mom texting Aunt Pam. It is her favorite, after all.

****Coming up next:Part 2 of my day! (: (I can't wait to hear your input!)**

Wow, y'all seem to know the people at the Grand Floridian pretty well. It is like you are royalty, since that is the most expensive resort at Disney. I would love to stay there, but would it ever happen? Uhh... probably NO! Haha :) Good to see you got moved to a new building. Sorry to hear about all the bad storms, hope your family is alright :thumbsup2 Love the picture of the Tronorail and your awesome TT pictures. I wish I rode the Tronorail when I got lost on the monorails on my last trip. It would make me vewwy happy. :goodvibes Sounds like Captain EO wasn't that great, your dad sounded disappointed. Hopefully it won't be permanent like some other changes. At least Soarin' brightened up your day :) Can't wait to hear more! Update soon! :mickeyjum

Yeah, knowing all those people at the Grand Flo makes me feel special! I hope you get to stay there, at least once. It is totally worth it! Thanks about my family. They ended up being okay, thankfully, but were all pretty shaken up about the whole thing. The tronorail makes me happy! (: I think that is such a pretty blue. My dad had seen Captain EO before, so he kinda knew what it would be like. I just thought it was weird. Too scifi for me.

Ah the GF <3
Great update! I loooove your pictures of the plant Buzz and Lotso and and gang (:
Can't wait for the next update!

Thanks, Sara! I love those Toy Story topiaries. They are all soo cute. I just love the F and G festival.

Day 3: part 2~The British Invasion

After our awesome Soarin' ride(in the front row), World Showcase had just opened, but Jordan wanted to go to Club Cool. I always like going in there, just to taste all of the different sodas from the different countries. I really like Israel's version of Sprite. Jordan and I were tasting all of the pops, and mom and dad just watched us. What party poopers they were. Jordan and I tried all of the drinks except Beverly from Italy........we knew better than that. That stuff is really gross.

Jordan wanted to stay in Club Cool a little longer, but the rest of us decided it was best to go on and walk around World Showcase. Right before we actually entered WS, they had some really cute Cars topiaries. I guess for the new movie coming out this summer! I just had to get a picture with them! Oh, and there were Winnie the Pooh ones, too.(probably for that new movie, too!) There were so many cute ones, I almost forget some of them!

P1030643.jpg

sorry Jordan looks so stupid....i didn't notice that until just now.

Have I mentioned that I love the Flower and Garden festival? I think the flowers are so pretty. It is my favorite event held at Epcot. Anyway, we started our trip around the World from the Canada side. Normally, we like to eat at Le Cellier, but with our late notice trip, reservations probably weren't available. So, we had to skip it up this time. My dad always jokes about how we need to watch "O! Canada!" again. He is the only one in my family that actually likes that film. I don't get it, but oh well. Thankfully, he was outvoted. It was really hot by now, with the sun completely shining. I don't know why, but we always end up traveling World Showcase when it is burning up outside.

My mom finally stopped texting my Aunt Pam. The storms were temporarily over, but there would be more in the upcoming hours. She didn't think they would be as bad, though. I was relieved that they were almost over. I know my cousins were freaking out! So, mom wouldn't be texting for a few hours, and I was glad for that.

P1030648.jpg

P1030213.jpg

The United Kingdom was the next country over, and my mom, dad, and Jordan all wanted to try the fish and chips kiosk for lunch. Me.....well, I'm not much of a fish type of person. I was just going to eat something in the American Adventure food court. Once we got into the UK, the kiosk hadn't opened yet. So, my mom wanted to look around in some of the shops. I, for one like the British shops, but the ones in Germany are my favorite. I went with Jordan and my dad to one of the sports stores and my mom went to the bathroom and the perfume/clothes store. She came back out to find us and said they had a "William and Kate forever" shirt in there. She would've gotten it, too, if it just had the words on it. She is obsessed with Princess Diana, so this was right up her alley. I am shocked(and relieved) she didn't buy that. We got out of the shops, and none of us bought anything. But, I spotted some Peter Pan topiaries that were super cute. As you know, pictures were a must! I put one with me, and without me in it.....that way you could get the full effect!

P1030649.jpg

P4270914.jpg

My mom and I then went to find a table for everybody but me to eat their fish. We sat down at an outside table right in front of the Pub. These British people were sitting at a table right beside us, and my mom and I were eavesdropping on them just to hear them talk! Yeah it's pretty pathetic. But, I would trade my country accent for a British one any day. They had this younger boy with them that kept on saying "nanny" over and over, and it reminded me of Mary Poppins. Jordan and dad brought the food a few minutes later, and they all loved it. I just sat there watching them eat, trying not to think about how hungry I was.

They all finished pretty quickly, so we finally went to the American Adventure. It was sooo hot outside by now, and it was noon, so that didn't help much. Jordan had one of those spray fans, but it really didn't help because he would spray it directly at your face. The American Adventure was a few countries down, but we didn't plan on any pit stops on the way. Honestly, we normally don't do that much in World Showcase except eat and shop. Jordan doesn't like it nearly as much as Future World. He could ride Soarin' and Test Track and just leave.

P1030653.jpg

P1030657.jpg

P1030651.jpg

We finally got around to the American Adventure, and right before we walked into the Liberty Inn cafeteria, my dad saw a Mickey and Minnie topiary he wanted to take pictures of. They were cute, but again I was burning up, as was everyone else. We took pictures anyway, though. A photopass person showed up, so I guess it was worth it.

P1030656.jpg

It felt so good to feel the air conditioning in the Liberty Inn. Ahh......nice air conditioning. There looked like there was a lot of people in there, but honestly I got my food pretty quickly. I got a hotdog, fries, and some sort of chocolate mousse thing. It all was pretty good. After I had eaten most of it, everyone else wanted to get going to the other countries. So, I took my drink with me and we headed towards Germany. It was my favorite country in World Showcase, pretty much just because of the teddy bear store they have there.

My dad and I went to Germany, while my mom and Jordan wanted to go to Norway. So, he took me into the teddy bear shop. I love the German Steiff(that's the brand) bears. I have a Mickey and Minnie Mouse at home from Germany. They are so adorable! (: This time, they had a Kermit the Frog that I wanted. I ended up getting it as a reward for my good grades in school.( I have always loved the Muppets, too)

P4270919.jpg

They also had some beautiful topiaries here, too! The Snow White one was one of my favorites, as well as the Tangled one of Rapunzel's tower. Picture time.....yet again!

P4270922.jpg

P4270923.jpg

P4270918.jpg

P4270925.jpg

My mom and Jordan were still in Norway, so my dad and I went over there to meet up with them. We got over there pretty quickly, the speed walking was back. I guess by then, I didn't really notice it all too much. We found them in a store in Norway. Jordan was trying on all of those viking hats inside. He does this everytime. You'd think it would get old by now. We walked out of there and everyone was tired, so the only thing left on the agenda was going into Mouse Gear to look around, and then we were going back to the Grand Floridian. We shopped around inside of Mouse Gear for a while, and I got a few things, as did my mom. On our way out, I really wanted a picture with the Toy Story topiaries, so we got our picture with those.

P1030668.jpg

P4270930.jpg

IMO, the worst part was ahead of us......climbing up the ramps to catch the monorail. These are the times I miss being in a stroller. My feet were pretty tired, so getting up the multiple ramps are never anything I look forward to. I made it, though, and the monorail had just pulled up by the time we had slowly walked up the ramps. I was relieved to plop down in the seats inside the monorail. You never realize how good it feels to sit down, until you walk and walk.......and walk.

We got back to the Grand Floridian after a few more ramps and a change of monorails at the TTC. It felt good to not have to go back into another building, and just stay in the main one. We still hadn't officially gotten inside our room yet, so my dad went to go and talk to Dan, while mom, Jordan, and I went to get a snack and play checkers. Our room ended up being 4415, a room I hadn't stayed in before. It didn't have a castle view, but it was better than the view we had before. Once we got into our new room, Jordan and I wanted to cool off a little bit, so it was off to the pool for us!

sorry it was mostly pictures! *****coming up: Our grim-grinning, electrical night!***

Looks like it was very hot in World Showcase. I'm surprised you guys were there in probably one of the more moderately heated months of the year. But it seems you still got to enjoy WS. (: The Fish n Chips sounds really good! I love Fish, though I'm not a big cod/haddock person, but still its made by the people who originated the dish. And I love the Lion King topiary and Rapunzel's tower pictures you took in Germany. I was sad I missed the topiaries and new stuff in WS, since I never spent a lot of time there. I still got to see a ton of stuff in Future World so that's a plus :thumbsup2 I'm sorry, you had to endur all that walking, but I'm sure it was all to get back to that beautiful view from your room another thumbs up to that ;) Can't wait to read more, update soon! :mickeyjum

Yeah, it's always miserably hot when we go to World Showcase. It makes it a little more difficult, but I would rather have it like that then cold and rainy. I fell in love with all the topiaries. They all were soo pretty. I have to say, the Lion King one was the most colorful. It was soo pretty in person. I could never pick a favorite out of them. The Food andWine festival is normally going on when I'm there, and nobody in my family really gets into that, so this is a lot more exciting to me.

Day 3:Part 3: Our Grim-grinning, Electrical night!

After getting cooled off from the pool a little bit, we had dinner reservations at the Grand Floridian Cafe. We were a little early, but they took us in anyway. My mom is a huge fan of Mickey waffles, and hadn't had one in a while. So, she asked if she could have one instead of anything off the Dinner menu. Our waiter came back and said she could have one! She was so excited about it. I almost would say that made the trip for her. (: Everyone else in the family ordered off the regular menu....well I ordered off of the kids' one, but that's normal for me.

After finishing our meal, we went back up to our room, because we all wanted to go back to the Magic Kingdom to see the Main Street Electrical Parade. Well, I thought all of us did. My mom wanted to stay in the room, rest, and watch American Idol, so my dad took Jordan and I. We waited a little while with her in the room, just because the parade didn't start until 9:00. So, around 6:30, my dad, Jordan, and I took the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. This wasn't really a shock to me, but when we walked down Main Street, there were people already lined up to watch the parade. I think this is a little ridiculous, but whatever floats your boat, I guess.

P1030674.jpg

-yes....all those are mine (:

P1030555.jpg

I really wanted to ride the Haunted Mansion to see the new entry line. My mom isn't a fan of this ride at all, so we all could ride without having to worry about leaving her out. Let me say: I really liked what they did to it! Our line moved pretty fast, so I didn't really get to take it all in yet, but from what I did/saw it was cool! I enjoyed it alot! There was tons of stuff there to keep you busy. Our ride wasn't stopped once the whole way through, and for us, that's pretty rare.

P1030676.jpg

After declining to be the 1000th Happy haunt(haha), we were about ready to sit down and stake out a parade viewing spot. We walked around Liberty Square for a bit, and finally found one pretty much across from the Liberty Bell. We thought it would be a good place to watch it, because the parade would be coming right at you. My dad got us some popcorn and drinks, then all we had to do was wait. Normally, Jordan and I are pretty good at entertaining ourselves pretty well. But the weird thing is, we normally have some pretty weird people around us that are more entertaining. We normally just throw popcorn out in the street and watch people step on it. It's stupid, but we find it funny. My dad made us stop pretty quickly, though.

P4270939.jpg

P4270940.jpg

-i look really bad in this picture....just saying

It was pretty much getting dark, and they ropes were up! A cast member in front of us was making hopscotch with tape on the ground in front of us. Jordan and I didn't actually play, but we watched other kids play. Then, Jordan noticed this little boy with some light up toy R2D2 and was obsessed with it. He would just keep it spinning nonstop and it would be going inside his mouth. It was kinda gross, but it was funny. He handed it to his dad, and he did the same thing! We ended up watching them for a while. I even took a picture of the little kid. It's not that good, but you can kinda see what I'm talking about.

P4270943.jpg

The parade finally started, and people were climbing into flower beds because they didn't really get a good viewing spot. The cast members were going crazy because they wouldn't get out of them! The Main Street Electrical parade is one of my favorites. That music is so catchy. My camera wasn't working too well with the lighting, so here are my dad's pictures! (He was bound and determined to get the smoke coming out of Elliot's nose)

I enjoyed the parade, once again. I walked away from it singing that song in my head. By this time, my feet were throbbing pretty badly, and we were speed walking to the boat dock. There was one boat that just got there as we got to the exit. My dad decided to run to try to catch it. :sad2: I was not excited whatsoever about this. Right before we got to the dock, the boat left. Yeah, I wasted all that energy for nothing. My luck. We waited for the next boat to come. Thankfully, the benches were empty, so I ended up sitting down. We waited for around 10 minutes and I honestly thought about taking a monorail instead. But finally, another boat came. After we loaded and I finally plopped down onto a bench inside the boat, there was this guy with two toddler kids, a boy and a girl, and the each had about three pacifiers each. They hadn't gotten on the boat yet, by the way. Well, the little girl dropped one of hers into the little space in between the boat and the dock, and the pacifier fell into the water. Her dad then got onto his belly, laying on the dock, and tried to reach the pacifier. I was thinking, "what the crap?" He eventually got the pacifier out of the water and got onto the boat. It was definitely entertaining and actually kinda funny. If it were me, I would have not done that. Can you imagine how nasty that water is? (It's not like they didn't have anymore pacifiers, anyway) Ewwwwww.......Anyway, I was kinda glad we wended up catching that boat after all.

*****sorry for not updating for a while....my computer was pretty messed up!*****

Those are some awesome stuffed animals. I love how Kermit looks like he is popping out from under the pillow LOL It's just great. And I can't believe people lined up for the parade that early. When I was there, it was just a little bit later when people lined the streets for the parade and they just started announcing it throughout the park. You still got awesome seats anyways! :goodvibes And the new queue for the Haunted Mansion looks awesome, I was so close to seeing it opened to the public, by like a few weeks, if only my vacation had been later, I could've seen it :( And I love the pictures you got at the parade! But what is with that dad and son eating R2D2??? :confused3 Glad to hear your computer is fixed, I was waiting for an update, can't wait to read the next one :)

Haha....I am a sucker for stuffed animals. I still think it's a tad bit ridiculous to wait for the parade 3 hours before it starts, when you could be doing something else. The Haunted Mansion queue was totally cool! I really enjoyed seeing what every little thing did. The kid with R2D2.....lol Jordan and I were desperate to find something to do, so we watched him. I felt like such a stalker taking that picture, but hey, funny memories! He really was freaky, and so was his dad. It was funny, though. It was like that r2D2 had them in a trance of some sort. haha

Your nose looks exactly like mine does every time I go to Florida! :lmao:

I'm really enjoying your TR! Keep it coming! :thumbsup2

Haha...I get sunburnt so easily. I guess all the swimming in the pool really got to me. I was constantly putting on aloe on my nose, ears, and cheeks. I just wish I would tan instead!

My computer is messed up yet again, so i am hoping to get an update up ASAP!

Day 4!!!!!! (:
Alright, so just like every other day, we woke up fairly early to get to the park around opening. By now, y'all can probably tell my family and I are definitely Magic Kingdom people. So, naturally we want to go the Magic Kingdom on the last day of our trip. I think it's the best way to end a trip. So, after everyone getting ready, it was breakfast time! We walked down the hall and finally found us an empty table to sit at. Even though it still wasn't exactly late, there were quite a few families there eating. We ended up having to use two separate tables around the corner of the fourth floor. My mom talked to the ladies serving food again, which by now I am pretty much used to. I got my usual, and Jordan ate double of what I did. We finished pretty quickly, so we took the elevator down the the second floor to catch the monorail.

The monorail wasn't too crowded, so that was good. It wasn't Extra Magic Hour at the MK, either, so that worked in our favor. We usually try to avoid those under all costs. Jordan walked down the ramp first to lead you down to the entrance of the MK. He always tries to walk like Vince Mcmahon does on WWE wrestling. He honestly doesn't do a bad job at it. I am embarrassed to say that I know what he actually walks like. As usual, my mom went through the bag check and the rest of us didn't have to. I went through the turnstiles and didn't really have a problem with my finger scan thing anymore. I guess that was just a one time thing. (:

We went to Fantasyland first, to ride a few things that we probably wouldn't be able to if we decided to come back tonight. Jordan and I wanted to ride Peter Pan's Flight first, so that's where we all headed. We entered the line and the cast member working gave us all free fastpasses to see Mickey's Philharmagic. That is honestly one of my favorite things to do, and we hadn't seen it yet this trip. So, i took those babies in a heart beat. I sat with mom and Jordan sat with my dad when we got onto our pirate ships. This is one of the few rides my mom doesn't scream on. She won't admit to it, but she does scream on rides. (:

-i took a picture of the Beast's castle/construction!!

We then walked over to Tomorrowland. We hadn't done the Speedway yet, but the wait was already kinda long, so we decided to skip it. That line builds up so fast! The wait time for Buzz Lightyear wasn't bad, so we decided to ride it. I got into the same cart as Jordan, since we are pretty much on the same level at this ride. My dad on the other hand, almost always racks up the points during the ride. So, I always try to avoid riding with him. The luck was with me this time, and I hit some random target(by mistake I'm sure) and got a ton of points!! I was pretty pleased with myself....even if was an accident. My dad still ended up beating me, though. Not really a shocker, but I was hopeful there for a while. We walked out into the sunshine and all discussed where to go next. I'm pretty sure all of us wanted to go to Fronteirland, so that's where we headed.

The wait time for Big Thunder Mountain was short as well, so we got onto it! That's my all time favorite, so I had to do it at least once today! It was pretty much a walk on, and we got to walk all the way back to the end of the train! IMO, the very best place to experience the ride. Of course, this is one of the rides my mom screams on. When she screams, I laugh, so it's all good. (: We ended up going on the ride again, since there practically wasn't a line. I headed straight for the back another time, too.

-Jordan's epic fail to give me bunny ears.
(my ears look so sunburnt)

The "Wildest Ride in the Wilderness" was definitely fun, but I was ready to move on instead of riding it again a third time. My mom hadn't seen the new queue for the Haunted Mansion, so I wanted to ride that again. She doesn't really like it, but I made her go on anyway. I love the new effects, and she even seemed to like the new hitchkiking ghost effect at the end, too. I think that is one of my new favorite parts of the ride. We got out of the ride, and noticed more and more tour groups showing up. Mid-day brings them all out! But, I don;t really like to deal with them, but everyone has to. It was around my lunchtime, and I was getting hungry. Jordan wanted to go back to the Grand Floridian to eat at the Gasperella Grill.(that's prob not spelled right) We walked out to the front of the park, and got caught by the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street party yet again. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's not right if that doesn't happen.

There wasn't anyone at the boat dock, so I was happy to sit down on the bench. the boat showed right up for us. We weren't the only ones on the boat, but one of the only ones. There were tons of people unloading, though. I was ready to eat and swim!!

***I am sorry for not updating for a while, my computer has been completely messed up, so hopefully it's okay!!******

Awww... last day already :( Anyways, I am totally the same way, I always have to end my trip with Magic Kingdom, always. It used to be Magic Kingdom was the beginning and the end, but that's sorta changed after my last trip... :teeth: That's awesome you guys got handed out FPs to PhilharMagic pretty awesome! :thumbsup2 And my mom is the exact same way as your mom, she screams on most rides. Most of my family can't stand it, but I think it's pretty hilarious, so I always end up sitting with her and I just laugh through those "OMG, what's going to happen now?" moments, while she flips out Hahahaha Sorry that you seem to not be able to avoid sunburn, that must've been awful having to deal with a sunburn your whole trip, hopefully the rest of this trip you are writing turns it around... :D Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum
