I would say SSR just because of DTD being so close of a walk.

We've not been to OKW yet but were at SSR with DD age 16 this spring break. She loved it! Loved the pool, the hot tubs, the refillable mug station by the pool, the way everything (arcade, food court) was near the pool. They do carriage rides at SSR now and we will be surprising her with that next time.It was nice to have DTD so close by as well.

Definetly, SSR. My kids are a little older 9, 22, and 26; but they would choose SSR due to being able to walk to DTD and the ammenties at SSR. Now, if you asked them to choose between BWV and SSR that might be a bit tougher.

We just returned from spring break with 3 - 16 year olds ( our son & two friends). This was his choice of resorts --he wanted to be in walking distance of DTD. It was a great choice they loved SSR raved about the hot tub and pool and ease of getting around. They were able to be quite independent and all reported this was an excellent vacation.

Another vote for SSR. We LOVE OKW, but we are old far--, not teenagers. SSR will let your teens find action whenever they are bored. OKW is wonderful, but not much action.

We have four teenaged girls and Old Key West is the only place they want to stay....Interestingly they stayed at Saratoga Springs a couple of weeks ago with my ex-wife and they still prefer Old Key West.

Can't imagine a better stay than our recent trip to OKW with three 16 year old boys...they played basketball, tennis, shuffleboard, ping pong, hung out at the pool (and loved the OKW slide). and we rented a boat one afternoon. I am sure SSR would be very nice, too. An idea for you...we booked the Segway tour at EPCOT for the three of them and it was, hands down, the highlight of the trip. Disney was such a great place to be for teenagers as it was easy to give them freedom to roam and be on their own without undue worry on our part.
