Summer Concert Series Lineup Announced

Till this day I wondered why Universal did not put seating in that area?Sure it won't help with the big concerts, but at least the ones that camp out for 3hrs would have a seat.Standing room only never works. And that area does get bottled necked.

Here is a idea.Put into one of the huge soundstages, add seating and stand up in front of the stage and everyone would be happy.Much less A-C'ed.

They could of used the area they got now for future exspansion of a new attraction or left it as the boneyard till.

Just a thought,I know.Mardi Gras would not be the same tho!!

Putting it in a soundstage or airconditioning would be great! I came for Train on Sat around 8pm b/c I knew there would be no way I would last all day in 100+ degree weather and then go to a 9pm concert. I could barely last the 2 1/2 or so hours I was there and I was chugging water the entire time. If I knew the concert at night would be in an airconditioned area or cooler then I probably would have come a few hours earlier to enjoy some rides.

Also it would be better if it was in a sloped area. That way near the back you are up higher and have a chance of seeing something besides a video screen.

But I think they should have just left the boneyard as is..as I mentioned before, they just added more buildings, trees ,etc. to make it harder to actually see the stage. I think future expansion of attractions in this area wouldn't happen anyway since they use this area for special events and halloween horror nights que lines.

If I have to watch video screens for a concert, I'd rather not even go. I watch concerts all the time on hd music channels from the comfort of my couch. Universal just took out a lot of available viewing space and added video screens and thinks that's fine. Its the same reason why I don't go to arena shows unless I can get good seats.
Ah, but see, we go for the people watching as much, if not more, than for the music. People at Universal can be very amusing. ;)
