Summer Code - July 29 – September 29, 2007 travel

How does this code compare to the postcard I just received on Tuesday. Should I call and change to the new code or keep the pin code I already received.

Well, I had NO luck today at all with any codes. My AAA agent said there were no more rooms available for the codes during the dates we're going---8/5-8/13.

I am pretty ticked. :sad1:

The post card rate is better. We saved about $100 more with the post card.

And the 40% off code is even better than the post card.

Whew, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I spent hours arguing w/ CRO yesterday to get the postcard attached to a package and then I didn't even hear about the general public code until 3pm. I was about to lose it if I could have saved even more and now POFQ wasn't available. Boy am I glad I got my deal yesterday. Seems like everyone is staying at POFQ. Lots of LGMH will be seen.:goodvibes

Can you apply this code to an existing reservation or does there have to be some availability. We tried to apply the AP code but couldn't ~ would this be any different?

NVM - called. No availability at CSR! I can't catch a break!

I was able to change my room only reservation at Pop to the $69 rate. I had previously booked 8/2-6 with my AAA discount.

The CM said the BUK code was applied to all of my nights. I'm a little worried now, though, after coming here and reading the details of the code. It seems as if the code wouldn't be applicable to the first couple of nights of my stay, but the price she gave me works out to $69 for each night.

Hopefully they will send me a new confirmation sheet so I can take that with me when I check in.

are you sure you have a saving dont forget to add tax to the $69.With the AAA discount it works out cheaper

When I first check in, it is Summer season, so I was getting charged around $92/night (pre-tax). She applied the $69 to my whole reservation, so as of right now, I'm saving money. I hope I get a confirmation mailed to me showing me the lower rate.

I just wanted to thank everyone on this DisBoard! Thanks to finding out about this code stuff, I just saved $682.24! I went from an All STar Music Family Suite to a room with an extra bed (to sleep all 5 of us) at POR. I am so excited! I never would have known if it wasn't for this board

Value season POP rates are $99----with the AAA discount of 20% it's $19.80 off of that rate, which makes it $79.20 plus tax. How is the $69 not cheaper? :confused3

i called back the cm again...was able to use code BUL for 2 out of my 4 nights. saved only 60 dollars on top of my AAA rate. but a discount is a discount. moral of the story: call multiple times...each CM tells you something different. keep calling until you get what you're looking for..:)

We just saved $323 on our Aug 11th - 18th vacation. We are staying at POR for 7 nights with 7 day MYW base tickets and DDP (2A 3C). I asked for code BUL because the first time I called they told me that the codes ZJZ and ZJV were not valid codes. They even applied the discount to the blackout date listed on the website. I made him repeat all the details back to me twice just to make sure in all my excitement that we still had all the same dates, plan, etc.

So when I called BUL was for room only. I asked for ZJZ and there was nothing available. Are there any other codes that would work for a total package along with dining? Thanks!

I just called and the CM said that ZJZ needed a pin code to go with it????

It turns out that my travel agent said the code ZJZ can't be applied to the AKL (I already I have my trip booked there for 8/20 - 8/27), so I'm pretty disappointed right now. She also told me that using the code at the Wilderness Lodge would actually cost me more money than the AAA discount I have at the AKL, which really surprised me with everyone talking about all the money the discounts are saving them. :confused3 I was wondering if anyone knew why the AKL wasn't included or if anyone had the same problem?
