I guess the discount code gods are against me once again
I thought for sure I would be able to get ZJY code applied to my WL courtyard view stay from 8/14-8/21 but my TA just emailed me and said that no discount was available for my stay. It seems that everyone else has been able to apply these codes for their exisitng reservations why not me!! I guess I am just venting as I have been watching these boards for quite some time waiting for a code for my travel dates and finally something came up to no avail. I guess I'll just keep watching and waiting.

I can understand completely. I tried everything, even thought of buying an AP but found values were already booked up for that. My TA says we have a better deal with our AAA myw package, but others are getting another discount ontop of that. Oh, well, at least we are going to disney.

If you check in on a date that is not a black out date do you get the cheaper price still or do you pay full price for those dates?

I just called and got the code ZJZ applied to my reservation for 8/7 -8/16 at POR. This included some of the listed blackout dates so I guess as long as your start date doesn't fall on a blackout date your good.
I saved $415.26.
I had no problems with the code and they are going to issue a credit to my credit card.

I think the deluxes are pretty well booked, when checking online, I could only get Key West or Saratoga Springs to come up for my dates in August.

I guess as long as your start date doesn't fall on a blackout date your good.

I was able to book a blackout date, 8/4, so I'm not sure what the deal is. I'm psyched because now I only have one ressie instead of two, since my dates were over two seasons originally.

Is that what the rate with the discount is for the WL? I'm currently booked at POFQ and would definitely like to upgrade if I can get in at that same rate.

I'm hoping my TA is aware of the code today! I haven't heard anything from her today, but I'm hoping that's because she is busy getting all of us our discounts! I'm due to check in just in time to catch this - Sept.29.

I went and changed from 3 nights at CSR to 4 nights at WL Its $30 more per night since I had a king room before but I SOOO want to try WL! I am so excited!

And yes, WL standard view is $140 a night!

Can someone please tell me how this code compairs to the 40% off code prior this year? I was able to save just under $400 with the 40% code, wondering what the % discount is with this new code.

My wife and I are staying at the Poly from august 6th-10th under the AAA rate. When I called using the BUK code, the CM stated that the code wasn't good for my dates. When I asked him to look into it further, he stated that the code was good for 3 of my 4 night stay. So, the take home message is, if the code doesn't work for your dates, ask if your code works for parts of your stay. It turns out, however, that when I applied the code to 3 of 4 nights of my stay, that the room rate is the same as the AAA rate. There is no savings at the poly during that time period from that of the AAA rate. Perhaps, I'll call again and talk to another CM. Again, the moral of the story is, don't give up if the CM states the code isn't valid for your dates of stay. You may be able to apply the code to at least part of your stay, and the CM isn't obligated to tell you this unless you ask. Good luck! I wish there was hope for us but the AAA rate is better than nothing.

Just got of the phone and my AAA discount was cheaper with new rate, 2 nights before FDP $155 befor with AAA $147.so sticking with what ive got (rooms at pop)

Update

I just saved $504 off my package rate. We originally had a king size room at POFQ (standard view) but under the code it was available so we switched to a 2 double bed room (standard view). It's just DH and I so it didn't make much difference if we have one big bed or 2 smaller ones. I rather take the savings. Now I'll have extra money for souveniers and helps pay for dining.

Can you believe this!!!! My TA has just e-mailed me with the quote for a 2 bedroomed villa at BCVs and saved us £100/$200 per night compared to the UK rates, to say I'm excited is an understatement

I just booked August 29-September 2 at WL $140/night - 4 night total $630.00! I just happened to go online to check rates this morning and this code just came out today!

First booked a MYW w/Dining for 4 of us with the ZJZ code - That was $2,476 (without insurance).

Decided to book the room only instead so I can make a decision - CM "Art" told me I can change to the package later. I think these codes have to booked by July 28th.

Update....Very important!!! There are TWO codes! BUK and BUL. BUL was noted on the walt disney world website. However, the BUL code is for people booking online only. You cannot use it when talking to the CM over the phone. When I tried to use it on the phone, they said the BUL code was available for my august 6th-10th stay (BUK was only available for 3 out of 4 days of my stay.). However, the CM stated that the BUL code didn't work for her because it only applied to online bookings. Just when I thought I saved some money. Perhaps, in the very near future, the BUL code can be applied over the phone as well. I'll keep trying and I'm sure eventually I'll get the savings. The savings will be significant. If I'm able to apply the BUL code (online code) over the phone, I'll let you guys know.
