Summer Challenge...

I would like to join in as well - put me down for 20 pounds.

I failed the March challenge miserably - but as of Monday of this week I am back on track with WW and exercise.

These boards have been great motivation for me.
 
Sorry I haven't been keeping up. I was ill Tuesday and had a busy weekend. We've been helping MIL with some things at her place so we've been spending alot of time there.

I'll get all the charts updated today. ;) I gotta do my workout when the kiddos nap and I will work on the chart "after" that. :cool1:
 
June 21st eh? Hmmmm. I'll have to do some mental figuring to come up with a number....let me think aloud here...it's March 24th...I weigh in on Thursdays...June 21st is on a Tuesday...so that gives me 12 weeks and 5 days...I know that I want to be at 159 by July 4th...so let's back off 3 pounds from that to 162...so I want to be at 162 by June 21....since I'm at 183.5 today, I'll need to lose 21.5 pounds in 12 weeks and 5 days!!! I think I can do that!!! I am supposed to take a week trip to Disney...but I think with all the walking I should be able to hold my own. and we'll just put that particular week down as a maintenance week.

So...starting today I'm going for 21.5 pounds on this summer challenge!!! Thanks for putting this together and charting it! I'll be posting weekly on my Thursday weigh ins! :) Let's get those pounds GONE gang!!! :)

Can I join in too. I would like to lose 30 pounds.
 

I hope everyone is still doing well now as the weather is finally starting to warm up. I keep reminding myself that it will be short/t-shirt weather soon and I would love to take myself on a shopping spree because none of last years stuff fits!

I have weighed in twice now at WW since joining this challenge on 3/16. The first week I lost 4.2 lbs and second week I lost 4.8. So my weight loss so far I guess would be 9 lbs. 21 lbs more to go!!!! I'm so excited :banana:
 
I'm down 2 pounds this week. :cheer2: 18 more to go.
 
PLEASE COUNT ME IN. I need to lose 20 lbs BAD. I have no clothes to wear as everything is SO tight!!!
 
I'd like to join. I'm new to the Wish boards. My goal is 12 pounds by summer AND work out 5 days a week. I'll weigh tomorrow at the gym so I can know my starting weight.

Happy Easter everyone. Don't eat too much candy!!

Anyone exercising? I am rehabiliatating my achilles tendon and these are my first real work outs in about 6 weeks. Friday I walked about 2 miles and yesterday 3.5 miles. Today I will probably be on the treadmill since we are in for storms.

(Last week I walked my buns off all over WDW, but these were faster walks, with hills!)
 
I'm off to a slow but steady start! I'm down 3.6 so I'm 3.6/30. This puts me at a total loss of 12.2 for my first month OP. I'm so excited!!

JJsmama - I really haven't done much exercising yet. It's been hard to find the time. What happened to your achilles tendon? I partially ruptured mine a few years ago and I still have problems with it when it's cold out. Take your recovery slow and steady!!

I really don't know what happened. There was never a moment when I heard or felt it go POP. I must have been fairly bad though because I've had pain and swelling with it for 6-8 weeks. At first I thought it needed more stretching. That made it worse. Then I rested and only wore certain shoes. That has helped.

Research shows that this injury happens a lot to women who wear heals and then switch to sneakers to work out. That describes me pretty well.
 
Blah I went up .5 lb so I'm .5/30 ugh got a ways to go gotta step it up some now. It was probably all that candy I ate yesterday and the lazy exercise week I had last week. But getting back on track this week. Did my workout this morning and am journaling my food. ;)
 
Please add me to this challenge. My goal is to lose 10 pounds by June 18th (we leave on the Magic on the 18th and I won't have access to a scale on the 21st).

Oops, been a bit forgetful about posting progress! I've lost 5.8 lbs. since signing up on the 18th. :cheer2: 19.2 lbs. to go.
 
Can I still get in on this challenge? I'll put my June 21 goal as 15 lbs. Thanks!
 
Melissa........is it too late to get in on the challenge? If it's not, could you put me down for 30 lbs. I know that seems like a lot, but I've got to have a mighty goal to really challenge me. Wish me luck! :flower:
 
I lost 2.5 lbs this week. Yaay! :cloud9: I didn't lose any last week :confused3 and I thought that I had hit a plateau but I didn't. I am very happy. :banana: Only 27.5 lbs to go.
