Summer Challenge...

This sounds pretty lame but.......how about 10 lbs. by June 21st for me. I'll up it if for some reason, that's not enough!

I like summer too. I like to swim and with a soon to be 2 year old we are gonna be working hard to teach her how to swim so I have a feeling I'll spend a lot of time in the pool. ;) She is doing awesome already at 19 months she will kick her feet but I gotta keep remind her. She can swim with the assistance of my arm by kicking her feet.

I've got some time tonight so I will add the new challengers. :cool1:
 
I would love to join this challenge as well. I am at 179 right now and by the beginning of summer, I would love to be at least to 150. That is 29 pounds and if I can get there before then, I will adjust my goal. Thanks for the inspiration and another challenge to get me going.
 
Ugh!! I stayed up way too late and couldn't wake up early enough to get my exercise in. My dd woke up around 7ish and came to climb in bed with us but when we got up again it was 9:30 and the little girl I watch would be here before I could get my workout in. :( I will make it up when they nap later. Or after nap if they don't nap together or well I will take walk outside. I only have single seat stroller so my dd is going in stroller and little one I watch can get carried in my sling. That would be some extra calories burned carrying and pushing a stroller. ::yes::

Count me in! I'm shooting for 25 lbs by June 21st. I'm starting to walk the track while my son practices soccer, so that's 3-4 days per week. I'm also going to try some toning and shaping exercises at home with weights.

I would like to join the summer challenge too please!! I will start counting effective my weigh-in tomorrow. My goals are going to be to lose 30 pounds (I know it's on the high side - but it will just make me push harder :) ) And to work-out at LEAST 4 days a week at Shape Express. I started last August and had to quit for medical reasons - I finally got the okay to start again and have just not gotten motivated to do it. They were nice and extended my membership (I paid for a year) but I'm now getting into the wasting money feeling. Good luck everyone!!

Ugh did not have a good day. My muscles were too sore from Tae Bo and my strength routine yesterday that I did not work out this morning. :sad2:

Then while at my moms my grandma and I had leftover Arbys ham and cheese and YIKES I did not know they are 14 WW points. I always got the roast chicken or the baked potato when I used to go while on WW so I didn't expect them to be that much. But I should have figured being fast food. :confused: :( :worried: I hope it doesn't make too big a difference on the scale. I worked out 4 days this week.

Tomorrow morning if I'm not too sore I'll do WATP or try out my new Pilates for Dummies. But if I'm too sore I'll take a long walk with my dd in stroller instead. Walking I think I could handle because I walked all over the store today taking my grandma to store and no problems. Only problem is lifting legs getting up. My my my I must have worked my thighs hard yesterday. Tae Bo was tough then I did the strength which was way more tough than I expected. ;)

I can make tomorrow and next week better but I can't change today so its over and done so I should just forget right?? :)
 
Please sign me up. My goal is another 30 lbs. by June 21st. That will put me under 200 and almost to my halfway mark of weight lost!! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo
 
I'm in! In the past 3 weeks I've lost 7 pounds, and I love the feeling..I want to lose about another 25-30 pounds to get me down to the 130's again..Disney and Universal trip mid july..so i'm shooting for then..i'm psyched :cool1:
 
Actually, I will be flying home from WDW on the first day of summer, we leave on June 16. My goal by June 16 is to be down another 15 pounds (and I am hoping for more, but the 5 pounds a month goald seems reasonable to me without stressing me out).

So I would also like to join this challenge!

Anyone else going to Project X DIS Meet in June! We plan to visit TL (our first time to a Disney waterpark) and I would REALLY like to have less of me in that swimsuit!

Okay, I started at 150.5 and I am dow to 148 so that's a 2.5 lbs loss. Only 27.5 lbs to go! Good Luck Everyone!

Count me in. I'd like to lose 35lbs and my goal date is Aug 15th. I've lost 10lbs total since January and in the last month I've really kicked it into high gear, losing 5lbs since Mar 1st :goodvibes I've got several mini-goals going...

By Mar 31st - 3 more pounds (to make total loss so far 13lbs)
By May 12th - 10-12lbs (to make total loss 23-25lbs)

May 12th is the day we leave for our WDW Vacation :) So its the most inspiring to me.

When I return I still want to lose 20lbs, and my next goal is our Trip to Europe in August. So this challenge is challenging to set a goal for ;) My total loss desired is 45lbs and I've lost 10...so put me down for 35 :)
 
I am down 1lb this morning! I did eat off plan 2x last week (and more than just one meal one day) so I am very happy with that. :cheer2:
 
Today was my first WI since joining this challenge and I've lost 2.6 pounds. Only 22.4 more to go!!!
 
After a stand still most of March I'm down 2.5 pounds for the month of March :flower: I am down 10 pounds since starting my weight loss in Jan :flower: So I will post 2.5/20 for this challenge :cool1:
