Summer AP Discounts announced April 20th

Just got off the phone with a nice cm who workout some vacation plans of mine and told me it might be better for me to wait until April 20th when AP discounts are announced. Even told me to expect the same 25/30/35 type of deals we've been seeing. Don't know if he was full of it but I sure hope not

I hope you're right, but I also hope the discount is a little better than 25/30/35. We are really wanting to stay deluxe this trip, but if it's only 35% off, we'll probably just stick with CBR.

Well if true this will be fantastic!

Only let down is I have to pay one of my 2 reservations today. When I called last week and talked to a CM about being disappointed that I would be charged a change fee if the AP rates came out after my 45 day, he said that sometimes they can do a one time courtesy adjustment of that fee. So hopefully he knows what he was talking about. If not at least it will only be a change fee on one package. The other package isn't due until the 24th.

I booked a room with an AP rate and only had the voucher at the time of check-in. I had no problem. This was 2 years ago, so it may have changed but I don't see why it would. The voucher is proof that you purchased the AP.

I booked a room with an AP rate before I had the AP, and without a voucher. I upgraded some UT tickets to the AP, so didn't buy it in advance. No one even asked about it when I made the reservation.

Sweet, I was just logging in here to ask if anyone has heard when they might finally extend past 6/2. Seems like that end date has been there for a while now. Not much of big deal for myself, as I have at least a bit of a discount right now, but one of my brothers is staying rack rate, and his 45-day mark is about a week and a half from now.

I just got off the phone and added the AP rate to my room only reservation at POR for June 18-July 2 (14 nights). I was already booked with a 10% savings so I was quite disappointed that I only saved $298.66...but it's better than nothing. I guess even with the gass and economy, it's not keeping people away from Disney.

Ok confused. So is the wilderness lodge 30% cause it is excluded for the 35% places? but not listed in the 30% places?

The cast member I spoke with was clueless!!!!! she couldn't tell me anything except my room for the 16th to the 24th was now 140.00 less. I just want to make sure it's coming out right. I'm glad I booked my room a while ago like I did. I had her check BCYC and it is totally booked up. I know WL fills quick too so I'm pretty happy.

Ok now the wait for Nov begins! LOL I already have WL booked again for TG week.
