I also applied for the summer alumni program. I completed my first college program not even a month ago.

Anyone know if it's particularly hard to be selected for this? I could tell the regular College Program basically let everybody in. I didn't hear about anyone not getting selected.

I don't know if I'm going to apply or not now since they told me that I can't go back to my original position even though it's merchandising.

There is limited room for people doing the summer program. Last year (for 2008), it filled up about a month after the application went up.

Also, not everyone is accepted for the CP. There just isn't room for everyone.

Really? Why not? That is weird that they wouldn't let you go back to your old location.

Ok, so now realizing that a lot of people could, and probably did apply, I don't feel so confident with my non favorable rehire. Why would they spend time on paper work, when they can just offer someone who is in good with the company? I guess I will just have to wait and see.

The wait for the DCP is the most anxious waiti n THE WORLD! lol
