Summer 2016 Pricing

I just did a couple of searches on the WDW site for the 3rd week of July 2016 and couldn't believe the results. I reran the search again in a different browser and got the same results. This can't be correct..can it?

Coronado Springs Standard Room: $821.00 per night
Contemporary Resort Standard Room: $1141.00 per night
Grand Floridian Standard Room: $708.00 per night
Polynesian Standard Room: $701.00
Beach Club Standard Room: $693.00 per night
Boardwalk Standard Room: $803.00 per night
Animal Kingdom Lodge Standard Room: $903.00 per night
Wilderness Lodge Standard Room: $730.00 per night

I'm not sure why, but when the list of resorts comes up, it does not have the lowest room price listed. But if you then click onto a specific resort, you can see all of the different room rates. For the 3rd week of July 2016, these are the rates at the Wilderness Lodge and Coronado Springs, for example:

WL - $317/night
CSR - $202/night

It makes it very annoying and tedious to look up and compare room rates. I don't know why the website does that.

As the pp said, it doesn't always show the lowest room category. If you don't choose a specific resort to price, it brings up all resorts. It says "standard" room rate, but most times it's a higher room category. For example, the $1141/nt you saw for the CR is for a Garden Wing 1 bedroom suite. If you click on a specific resort, you will see all of the room categories and the rates.

Talk about sticker shock! WOW! They need to fix their site. I see now that after you select a resort it shows a different price but initially it sent me looking elsewhere for accommodations because I saw those prices and went running. Thanks.
