Sum of all thrills?

Yes, go fairly early, wouldn't wait more than 15-20 min for it but pretty fun. If you ask the CM they can tell you the trick to making the most extreme ride.

If you haven't done it, you might as well. you never unless you try. :)

I was less than impressed. No need to repeat that.

We tried it for the first time this past January. We thought it was a lotta fun. We giggled for a long time afterwards :)

It's ok

Beware that it's a slow moving line - the wait time sign has never seemed very accurate to us. If there are a bunch of people in line it's not worth the wait.

My wife and I have been big fans since Sum of All Thrills was opened a couple of years ago. We always make it a point to ride a few times each trip, opting for the most flips possible (Flight Simulator).

all 6 of us really enjoyed it (ages 23, 24, 24, 26, 55, 56)

we went there first - straight from rope drop
went on it a few times, building new coasters each time.

of course, DS went for the flip over back side insanity...

the rest of us went for much tamer rides, but we all enjoyed it!!

I have some techie geek friends who love it and who will do it multiple times on a trip. But I did it once, and that was more than enough. If you are very enthusiastic about video games, simulators, and roller coasters, you might like it.

I liked Storm Struck a lot more. I'm a different flavor of geeky :).

we loved storm struck too!!

we love everything in innoventions - we usually spend two half days in the two innoventions - storm struck, sum of all thrills, the techno house (i think they're updating that one right now), the fire game, and whatever else is in there at the time..
and yes, we're all geeks :)
and none of us are kids (other than at heart)....

by the way, not located in innoventions but along the same silly kid lines - we played all the kim possible missions over the course of 3 days (3 at a time)...

Huh. Never heard of it. :) Guess I need to pay more attention next time I'm at Innoventions.

Sayhello

Is this like Virtual Space Mountain at Disney Quest?

Is this like Virtual Space Mountain at Disney Quest?

yes, in that you build your own coaster, but the robotic arm of sum of all thrills is much more versatile in what it can do.
A far superior coaster experience.
Plus the building of the coaster is more fun - sort of a fun way of learning the importance of math/engineering...

How long would the wait be in Early may/late April? I want to know what wait time to look for to decide if we're going to wait to experience it. :)

I think the key is not to underdesign. The first time we did it, we _thought_ we had a good layout, but were underwhelmed. The second time we designed it better.

DD and I love this. We've done it the past couple of trips and look forward to it. If you are into thrill rides, I'd put it on the 'must do' list.
