suki the cat

hi

i got a cat from a rescue place a few months ago and shes doing really well. the only thing is is that she has allergies so i have had to put her on a hypo-allergenic diet. i started this yesterday. i bought some james weellbeloved. she has never been a fussy eater before but doent want to touch this stuff. i dont want her to stalve but i equally dont want her to suffer with allergies.

does anyone with any cat experience kn ow what i should do?

should i keep going with the james wellbeloved and hope she starts eating it?

how long should i give it before i give in and give her some whiskers?

I would leave it another day or so before you give in, if she still wont eat it is there another one you could try? Hope she feels better soon!

well the vet recommended that one but i think there are a few more on the market. i will see how she goes and let you know.

you could try mixing it with her usual food for a while till she gets used to it and then slowly phase out the other brand

Try limiting the time you have her food down, so she is hungry when she eats just leave plenty of water for her. Just a suggestion hope she settles soon, Wifey.

she has been eating bits so there is hope. shes not up to her usual amount but shes getting there.
