Hi everyone. I'm sure that this topic has come up before, but when I tried to conduct a search, the results weren't quite what I was looking for.

We're flying into MCO the night before the cruise and looking for places to stay near the airport. We're basically looking for a 2-BR suite (a real suite with doors and everything) near the airport. We would also need hotel shuttle service from the airport to the hotel because we're hiring a van to take us to the port the next day, and won't have our own car to get us to the hotel. A cab or Uber wouldn't work because we have small children with us, but we are not bringing our own child seats. We won't have much time there so we're not interested in staying at the Disney properties. Thank you all in advance!

We have stayed at the Homewood Suites by the airport in a 2 BR suite. It was very nice and meets all the criteria you mention.

We've had good luck with Residence Inns.

We stayed at Homewood Suites Orlando Airport in March for one night before and after our cruise. Each time we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. The bedrooms were on either side of the living room, so lots of privacy and space. They have an airport shuttle, but we had a rental car so did not use it. Also, there are several good restaurants within easy walking distance. The free breakfast was good. The price was great -$150/ night and it was only 5 minutes from the airport. We would stay there again.

We just booked a two room suite at the Embassy Suites Orlando Airport on TG Lee Blvd for our pre & post-cruise nights. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport (45 miles from Port Canaveral) and offers a 24-hour airport shuttle. If you are a HHonors member or select the pre-pay option, you can get a really good deal -- I saw as low as $91/night for September.

Thanks everyone! It looks like I have some good options. I'll be sailing in October so hopefully that means good rates.

Another vote for Homewood Suites near MCO - there are at least five restaurants in the same general complex as the hotel. Free breakfast and free shuttle back to the airport. :)

Thanks for all the feedback. It looks like Homewood Suites is the way to go. I checked Embassy Suites as well, but it looks like their "two room suites" are really just the living room with a separate bedroom while Homewood has two bedrooms and a living room. Or at least that's what showed up as options for the date I'm looking at.

We like Staybridge Suites or Homewood Suites when we need 2 bedrooms and free breakfast, though we haven't stayed at either of their MCO locations.
