Suites at RPR questions

Sorry..I can plan Disney in my sleep, but never have planned a Uinversal trip before.Can someone tell me if the King Suites at RPR have a bedroom separate from the living area? Are the kids suites any better? We have one child and when we do Disney we like DVC properties so that she has her own sleep area.Any help is appreciated!

They do have a separate bedroom, and a TV in both rooms, We stay in King Suite at RPR and DD loves having the sofa bed with her own TV.

They have some really cool kids suites, check into that if you are doing a really go all out for the kids type of trip.
