Last year we stayed at the Park Vue in one of their 2 room suites with 2 queens and a parlor area, and loved it. There are no suites available toward the end of September, so I checked HoJo and the Tropicana, and they are showing nothing available online as well. All they are showing is standard rooms. Am I trying to book too early for the suites? Or maybe I'm just too late? Just really suprised that time of year not much is available. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I would call them and talk to someone personally. Maybe all their online suites are booked and they have others that they dont release to online reservations.

I'd call around. Often suites are bookable on-line. It will be busy since CarsLand opens this summer, but there were some suites still available a few days ago (we're looking at amending, or postponing :( our trip).

Called HOJO yesterday and they said they had no more Double bed rooms. They said there is a huge group coming in Septembe and they are almost booked. Try calling the hotel directly, and call everyday, someone may cancel.

I had the same issue with Hojo when I was looking for my dates (Sept 30-Oct 6) in Feb and I was told that Sept 30th and Oct 1st were sold out. I have also seen another person say that Oct 3 is sold out as well.

I booked at the Best Western Park Place Inn. I have never been before but I have heard good things about it.

I noticed that the double queen with bunk rooms at Park Vue were not available at the end of september. I wonder if there is something going on that we don't know about. I decided to do early September instead, but am interested to know if anyone finds anything out about the big rooms being booked already.

October 3rd was sold out when I checked. We changed our arrival to the 4th (my daughter's birthday), but may change it entirely now :(

Also, if you are trying to book through Disney's site...only a limited inventory is offered through them. You'll have better luck going through the hotel directly.

Thank you for the information! I ended up calling Tropicana, they had some suites that are not listed on the website. I also checked Desert Inn, they have some as well. We need two separate rooms with a door we can close, otherwise my 7 year old gets too noisy during my 4 year old's nap. We also need something very close. Has anyone stayed at the suites in either the Tropicana or Desert Inn? Trying to decided between the two. Tropicana is more expensive.

Just a bit of useless information :rotfl: but.... September/Oct is peak time for Australians to travel the USA. It is school holidays in Australia, low season in the USA, so the cheapest time for us to travel there. Our dollar is so good at the moment, so particularly this year, Aussies are flocking to the USA during Sept/Oct (with Disneyland a must with kids). Disneyland have been flooding our tv's with commercials since late last year so to DL we will go. I know HoJo's is booked up with a mass of Aussies in Sept/Oct. There are also a few other hotels/motels that are popular close to DL, so that will explain why its busier than you expect during late Sept/early Oct. (among other reasons, like Carsland)
