We are staying concierge in a 1 bedroom suite in October and I am wondering if there is a map of some sort that shows where the suites are located. I have read in some trip reports of people who had a very long walk to the elevators from where their room is located and we will be travelling with our 6month old baby. Thanks

We were in a 1 br suite at the GCH and YES there was a very long walk to our suite. We were in the suite closest to DL Park, which made it a very long walk from where we could enter the hotel. There was no entry from our side of the hotel, just an exit. And with a stroller and assorted gear, we didn't go doen the 3 flights of stairs to do it very often. I believe that the suites are on the corners, so if you find a map, just picture the suites on each of the hotel's corners. If you know what view you paid for, that would help determine what corner you are probably going to get. And as I recall, concierge is on the 4th floor.

Looking at that map, I can tell why we had such a long walk! We had suite 451! And I was wrong about the concierge floor - it's the 6th floor! Even more stairs to climb down if you're all the way up there.

Thanks for the fantastic info, I believe we have a downtown disney view. I am going to find out if I can submit a room request.

If you have the DTD view, as we did, that means you will probably have the same long walk that we did. 451 and 169 are the DTD view suites as it looks from the map. And yes, 451 is great due in part to its fantastic wrap balcony. We people watched many nights right there from the great balcony.
