It was the pure, unadulterated selfishness of this person's behavior that really stuck in my craw; tying up everyone else for all that time just to pretend he was going to jump, for the publicity??? It definitely IS a sign of how times have changed. People need to have their 15 minutes of fame no matter how they get it, and who knows? Maybe the guy will get a movie or a book deal out of it!

And except for the pusher's statement of why he pushed the guy, there is no proof this guy was doing it for his 15 minutes of fame.
I find it a very sad commentary that there are people that support causing harm, in this case a spinal injury, to another just to "get on with their day"
Possibly being in a wheelchair for the rest of your life is a big price to pay because somebody thought you were faking your depression.
