Several of us were "not showing compassion" towards a moron who was holding up traffic for no reason other than to be selfish - that was it. If this were a child, or something worth of "compassion" than it would have been shown.

I'm sorry, but if your gona kill yourself, do it - don't sit there holding up traffic for 5+ hours!!! This thing you call god and religion has no place here -take it away!

Wow. I was actually in a situation like this years ago. I was on my way to work, driving with a coworker when I saw a young man climb over the railing on a bridge that I crossed every day. I drove to the end of the bridge and pulled over. Another car did as well - a man and his wife. We had the wife take my coworker to work and the man and I went up on the bridge to talk to the young man until the police and EMTs could get there. He had just lost his job and his girlfriend and was distraught. I can say that the thought of pushing him off never crossed either of our minds. I don't think I could ever do that to anyone. I couldn't throw a rat over a bridge no less a human.

Clearly, you should be ashamed of yourself. Not just one of you held up traffic, but THREE of you?

Second, this ******* wasn't trying to kill himself - if he wanted to off himself, he would have done it in the first 5 hours of sitting there. This dope was in debt, and wanted to find a way out of that - short of killing himself.

Wow!!! First of all I am amazed by peoples comments. Are the boards always like this? I thought this was a Disney board to talk and enjoy about Disney. There is enough anger, sadness, and hatred in the world without all of us contributing. And as far as the religious/Christian thing (not a good joke) - Yes I do love Christ. If I am wrong and he doesn't exist then all I did was be kind and try to love my family, friends and others the best I could but if others who think he doesn't exist are wrong - IT WILL BE A HOT (NOT COLD) DAY IN HELL FOR THEM!! How do you know that? In the documentary The Bridge one guy hangs out on the Golden Gate Bridge for HOURS before he actually jumps. Don't try to get into the head of somebody who you obviously don't care about.
