Suggestions... ultra compact digital?

I would like to buy an ultra compact digital camera. Right now I have an Olympus C-4000. It seems so big and clunky now that I see these new slim cameras. Also my rechargable batteries are no longer holding a charge and one of my cards just "died"! So insteead of investing moere $$ in my old camera (which I have issues with anyway!), I would like to buy a new one. I was looking on line yesterday and there are so many to choose from, it's confusing!

Any help would be appreciated. I usually do not mess with any settings because I don't know what I'm doing with those! I like a good zoom feature, and I would like a larger display window thatn my 1.5" one I have now. I also would not like to spend more than about $400 at the most.

Any suggestions?

Here's a start. Others will have more. Since you don't want to mess with settings have a look at the Panasonic TZ1. It is a small 10x zoom camera (35mm-350mm). I have one and like it. Sells for around $300.00.

Another one you may want to look at is the Pentax W20. It is a waterproof camera to a depth of 5 feet. I am looking at this one for taking pictures in wet conditions like when it is raining.
