Hey all!

I've been to disney enough times to know that the food there is amazing..... and being that I absolutly LOVE food, with it's abbility to keep me alive and kicking and what not....

So, for this trip, I started looking into buying a dining package. After talking it over with the fiance, we decided to do it.

But here's the problem: every time I've been to Disneyworld, we've pretty much eaten cheap. Maybe one or two charicter meals, perhaps a nice sit down dinner.

But now I'm staring at 8 sit down meals, and I'm clueless. To be honest, I've got 4 resturants in mind: Chef Mickey's for dinner, Crystal Palace for lunch, Coral Reef for lunch (or dinner... haven't decided yet) and then chef mickey's for a late breakfast.

I'm hoping you all might have some ideas about where I can take 4 and 5 year old boys for a good, sit down meal. I like charicter meals, but I also don't want to have ALL charicter meals.

I can only swing a green napkin over my head so many times before I'll end up whipping myself in the eye. HELP SAVE MY EYESIGHT! :thumbsup2

Ones we like that your boys might have fun at are Sci-fi and 50 Prime time.

Keeping kids in mind you have a great start with Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace :thumbsup2 . Crystal Palace is a must for our family. I have a daughter but I will try to channel my nephew with my recommendations!
I also think they would like Coral Reef...you said that one right?
They would probably like Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. It is not a character meal but it is loud and rowdy. Lots of fun going on. It is a TS and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You might consider O'Hana. For breakfast they have a Lilo and Stitch meal but I've heard dinner is very interactive there...but no character meal.
If you are in the market for a counter service idea check out Pizza Planet at MGM. My husband and daughter loved going there.
I think they might also like the Sci-Fi Diner at MGM.
I don't know if they are too old but they do have a whole Playhouse Disney breakfast somewhere at MGM.

I was looking at the playhouse disney one (btw, it's at hollywood and vine, I believe), but I think they are out of that now....

Their favorite place to eat is Buggaboo Creek, for those familiar with it. Talking animal heads on the walls and such, so I'll take a look at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

I was thinking of the sci-fi cafe', but I'm not sure how they would react to that... I definitly want a sit down meal in each park, and I don't have one at MGM yet, so that's a possibility.

I might also do the fantasmic dinner package, depends on how good the seats are.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it!
