Suggestions on what to do if not going into parks

Pool hours seem to depend on resort and actual pool. On our recent stay, I seem to recall some pools closing at 9pm and some at 11pm. Someone else might be able to give more specifics!
Thanks. I’ll just ask when we get there. I was just wondering if even open in evening.

Oh, this sounds like a good idea. What type of free stuff is there at AKL?
Some “free stuff” at AKL is the free Boma and Jiko restaurant tour daily at 4:00. You get some free samples, usually soup and a zebra dome at Boma, and bread service samples at Jiko.
Another free thing to do at AKL is to go out to the edge of the Savanah and see the animals. The guides out there can answer your questions about the animals and even loan you night vision goggles after dark.
It’s also a nice free activity just to spend time visiting the lobby with all the unique and authentic African art work. The gift shops have many items not found in other gift shops on property. AKL is well worth a visit!

They have an etching thing for kids on the floor, they do a tour of the restaurants and you can ask the front desk for a list of the animals in the savanna and spend several hours trying to find them all. They do several other things that you can find on a newsletter like thing they do.
