Hi everyone,

We are spending two weeks at Disneyland in February. We are working on finalising our reservations and I would love some thoughts or suggestions. We are two adults who love character meals. We have been spoiled dining at WDW over past trips. Currently we have:

Blue Bayou - Paint the Night Package

Chip and Dale Critter Breakfast - Storytellers Cafe

Steakhouse 55

Goofys Kitchen

Carthy Circle

Ariels Grotto

Minnie and Friends Breakfast - Plaza Inn

Goofys Kitchen - Our international flight home isn't until 10pm. We will be having breakfast to say goodbye to the characters and a slow day at Downtown Disney

We will also be adding the new Afternoon Tea at the Disneyland Hotel and a visit to Trader Sams. Does anyone have any other recommendations or any must do stops? Thoughts on our reservations?

Thank you

I would suggest Cafe Orleans. I love the food and ambience here. If you go, make sure to order the pommes frites. They are the best!

Are you doing any World of Color dining packages? Wine Country Trattoria does WOC packages and isn't on your reservation list. The Trattoria is one of my favorite restaurants in the parks and a must-do on every visit. It's terrace dining with a relaxing Tuscan vibe. Try to get seated around 5:00 p.m. to catch the Pixar Play Parade as it passes by the restaurant.

The only character meal you're missing is Surf's Up at PCH Grill with Mickey and Friends (breakfast only). Depending on when you're going in February, Goofy's Kitchen is closed (through Feb 9). During this time, the Beachside Bonfire dinner buffet at PCH Grill will be a character meal (normally there are no characters at dinner at PCH Grill).

If you like lounges, I highly recommend the Carthay Circle Lounge. It can be a very popular place (aka there can be a line to get in), but the food is actually pretty good. Another popular lounge/bar type place is the recently renovated Cove Bar in DCA.

Other TS locations that I like include Cafe Orleans (which has pomme frites and gumbo, along with the very popular Monte Cristo sandwich) and Carnation Cafe (the meatloaf is very good, as are the fried dill pickles and baked potato soup).
