We will be there Oct 31 - Nov 11 and are at our 60 day mark today!!! I have stayed at the Fort once (RV and not with the group I am traveling with this time) but this is my first cabin experience. My 3 year old grandson is part of our group of 4 and I was wondering which loops you might recommend? We are not renting a cart, and might be driving to the parks except for MK as the boat ride is great. I'm still trying to talk my SIL into the benefits of the bus system, but he keeps reading about the negatives of using the system at FW. Any thoughts? TIA

I'm a camper myself, but I never have stayed in the cabins. My husband and I drive everywhere except when we use the ferry. I think the buses inside the campground are actually top notch. We've used the bus to travel from our loop to the Settlement Depot (the one by the Lake), and we've waited anywhere from 3 minutes to 15. Fortunately, the bus stops have benches and are shaded. We enjoy the campground buses! But we enjoy the freedom of driving to Epcot, AK, and Hollywood Studios... still, give park transport a shot, and you might like it- especially the monorail going into EPCOT!

We have stayed in a cabin for the last 10 years and love the bus system both inside the Fort and to the parks, no driving or trying to find our way. It takes a little more time then a car would but not much if you are patient.
All the loops are good but request a cabin near transportation if you use the interior buses which run every 10 minuets. Loop 2400,loop 2500 and 2600 are right near the quiet pool. If you want to be closer to The Meadows pool, trading post and campfire loop 2100 or 2200 are the ones you want.
Have a good time. and don't forget the fireworks from the Settlement beach.

Thanks! We were thinking of requesting 2500. Glad to hear the bus system at the camp isn't that bad! Fun will be had no matter what!
