Looking for an offsite hotel that won't cost a fortune for a Fri and Sat night stay. Weekend of May 13. No onsite values available. Don't won't to spend a fortune. No more than 150 a night that includes resort fees.

Before I stayed on site for the first time a few years ago, I used to use the Hampton Inn on Palm Pkwy as my go-to hotel for Disney trips. It's right behind Crossroads, and just a few minutes drive from Disney Springs. This is still my go-to in the event we decided to skip staying on site (which we might for some quick weekend trips next year, since we will have APs which will get us free parking). The AAA rate for your weekend is $134, so I imagine the standard rate, if you don't have AAA or some other discount, would be no more than $150. Free parking, no resort fee, free breakfast. Look for the location labeled as Lake Buena Vista if you are interested in checking them out.

There is a Hilton Garden Inn that is a Disney Neighbor hotel. It's in the Disney Springs area. Nice, about $100 a night. Stayed for 2 nights in October, no problems at all. We didn't use the shuttle because we were doing the Halloween party and the shuttle didn't run for party hours. Quick easy drive to MK.

Best Western right near Disney Springs is by far my favorite hotel to stay at.

We go often so we usually stay at a hotel that's below $100 a night. In about the last year Best Western Lake Buena Vista has raised their prices and now charges I believe $10 a day for parking (stupidest charge a hotel can charge), so we haven't stayed there in awhile. But for how close it is to DS, how nice the rooms are, their balcony views (some have firework views)...it's a great stay. If you check them you might be able to get it for under your price point

And mousesavers gives discounts (or use to) depending on the time of year

I just spent two weeks at the Red Lion Hotel Orlando and was very pleased with it.

It is the first hotel on 192 west of WDW. It's close to the parks, clean & comfortable.

Their advanced purchase rate for a standard room starts at $72 but lastminutetravel.com is offering the room on May 13 & 14 for $36/night (plus the $8/night resort fee).

I booked my stay with lmt and had no problems at all.

My husband and I stayed there in 2015 and we liked it! The staff was nice and the rooms had been recently refurbished. The beds were very comfortable.

It's also very close to Sherbeth Rd. The back road onto Disney property.

mouse savers is currently offering a special hotel deal at a Holiday Inn hotel with a waterpark for $89.00/night in a 2 bedroom suite. The hotel is a mile from Disney according to the listing and waived resort and parking fees are included in the deal. It looks like its available for your dates.

Yes, I saw that yesterday afternoon. This is my plan as of right now. Has anyone ever stayed there?

Thanks for this thread! I searched for current Red Lion reviews for a (relatively) last minute trip to see Wishes and Avatar at the end of May. The Red Lion was $73 including resort fee ... which is a great price. BUT for $14 more per night I booked at the Holiday Inn in a 2 BR suite.

Hmmm ... I'm now reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Maybe I'll make a back up at Red Lion anyway.
