Hi,

I've made a princess gift basket for my DD to take with us to put in the room for when we arrive. It's within the height and hand luggage size requirements, but because of it's shape and the cellophane it wont fit in a holdall or a rucksack. I was going to cover it in a black bin bag so my DD can't see it, but I was hoping for some suggestions on ways to transport it. It can't be tipped (it's got a wand a tiara that would fall out of place).

I'm hoping Virgin will be ok with me taking it on, and that it's not too tall to keep upright in the overhead compartments.

Failing just putting it in a really large carrier bag i'm at a loss as to what to take it in.

Thanks x

Do you have a bigger case that you could use for it then bring souvenirs back in it or try getting a big enough box to carry it in

If it won't go in the overhead lockers you may have problems taking it onboard.

Would you be able to take all the bits in your luggage and then remake the basket when you get there? Maybe have your DD distracted for half an hour to allow you time to do it?
