Hi all. I'm working on a welcome basket/stocking for my husband and have run out of ideas. Am putting it together myself since he doesn't eat candy or typical snacks and won't appreciate Disney toys -- most of the offerings from peggyssweetsandmore and disney. It's a pre-Christmas trip and we're driving. Here is what I have so far. Any other suggestions????

Pair of terrycloth Mickey Mouse slippers
2 Disney jazz CDs
Expedition Everest fanny pack
eyeglasses holder/stretchy thing

How about a hidden Mickey book or guide book for him to read on the ride down?
I'm having a hard time thinking of anything else! :confused3
Maybe a Disney t-shirt or hat?

I'm putting together some gifts for my DF because we'll be in Disney for his birthday. He's a big Finding Nemo fan so I got him the towel set for $12 and a beach towel for $5. I also went to the outlet at disney shopping online and bought some t-shirts for him because they were only $4 a piece. HTH :goodvibes

we did one for our parents before a trip a few years ago and shipped it out to POR. It was at check in when we arrived and they loved iT!

It was a spring trip and i had been to orlando on business and bought items from WDW to put in it- including ballcap, disney pen to write with, magnets, mickey umbrella, ponchos, sunblock, chapstick, candy from goofy candy co., and i also bought their POR refillable mugs in advance, so they were in the basket too!

if he drinks coffee, a nice disney mug!

How about a nice bottle of wine and two Mickey glasses then you will get a treat too??

Are you doing any special things while you are down there that he does not know about yet, like a fishing excursion or fireworks cruise? The basket might be a good way of saying "guess what we're doing!" by putting in a couple of lures or something else related.

I'd also suggest a mister fan, maybe a new hat if he doesn't have one for the sun, and they've had a lot of disney beach towels on sale at the disney store online.

One of my DH's favorite souvenirs is his Disney cap that he got on our May trip. And it's one of those useful souvenirs...he wears it every day.

Thanks, great ideas! I especially like the bottle of wine w/two Mickey wine glasses -- pretty sure I saw those on one of the shopping web sites.
