readily available to you right outside the park and only a few minutes or so drive whether on U.S. 192 or International Drive. There is everything from fast food (McDonald's, Burger, King, Taco Bell..etc.) to family style buffet restaurants (Ponderosa, Shoney's, Golden Corral,..etc) that also have regular menus.
Also, there are chain steakhouses like LongHorn and Outback along with eateries like Olive Garden, O'Charley's, Bennigans, IHOP, Sizzler, Pizza Hut, etc.... along with loads of great local places native to the area.
We have always primarily eaten all of our meals outside of WDW due to staying offsite, the combination of savings, and varied menus that are offered. For breakfast, there are great buffets in the vicinity along with those for lunch and dinner in addition to nonbuffet dishes.
Last year, we ate at Golden Corral's breakfast buffet and there were pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits, eggs, cereal, toast, french toast, oatmeal, fresh fruit, doughnuts, and other items. Milk, apple juice, orange juice among other beverages were provided. We tried a sampling of just about everything and it was excellent! I recall it being $3.99 a person which is similar to most morning buffets in the area.
We stopped at Ponderosa for the dinner buffet and there was chicken, lasagna, spaghetti, bread, fruit/salad, pizza, maccaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and a smorgasboard of other foods and several dessert items were included at around $6.75 a person. Shoney's had a similar kind of set up with dinner when we stopped by and had several different kinds of items at the time.
TGIF had the standard menu and prices that can be found pretty much at all of their restaurants in other cities; also the same with breakfast at IHOP and dinner at Pizza Hut
when we ate there.
Also, you can be sure and pick up a couple of the different tourist magazines located in the bins located next to shopping venues because they have a very thorough listing of all the dining places in the area along with some valuable coupons.
Hope this helps.
