The original plans for Animal Kingdom had another land that deal with mythical animals (dragons, unicorns, etc). In fact the main thrill ride at the park was going to be a dragon-themed coaster.

I'd like this. Disney does coasters well. The coaster could start out in a cave, fly high through the air, pass through a Middle Ages village, etc.

Animal Kingdom is in desparate need of a major thrill ride.

I remember when they started discussing the mythical section. I was so looking forward to it! I used to talk about it all the time! Alas, it just wasn't meant to be.

I do like the idea of a villian-themed ride! Maybe super-fast coaster/animatronic character interactions of them trying to capture you or something. Who knows!

I'd like to see something with an Alice in Wonderland theme besides the teacups.

... you board an umbrella (boat) that takes you to "Wonderland" You encounter all of the major movie scenes and the characters (mostly actors and some animatronics) the last scene you are led to an actual tea party with the characters.

This would be like an interactive character meal that would have to be booked just like any other meal.

..all costs and practicality aside, I think this would be awesome!:teeth:

I would love a Monsters Inc ride. Imagine the scene with Mike and Sully and all the doors flying around everywhere. I'm not sure of the logistics (probably why I'm not an imagineer), but it would be fun!!!!

I think it would be cool if they had that Mythological creature thing and the need to bring back 20,000 leagues under the sea, i was only 5 when they closed it:( But for a new ride...lets see...I like that villain idea, totally cool.....Probably something to do with a Disney Princess. TLM: It could like a water ride, and when you get to the part where they kill ursula the car could stop, and 2 words: water cannons.
I like that AIW idea.......I think they need more thrill rides for sure, maybe something around the Kingdom Hearts game?

In MK I would like to see a dark ride based on Atlantis.

Also, "Glacier Mountain" where you ride in an ice floe boat, the ride is an enclosed dome (nice and chilly!) with IMAX footage of Alaska all around you, and animatronic polar bears, seals & penguins. End is a plunge down a glacier like Splash Mountain.

In Epcot WS, add Greece and do a dark ride with all those cool gods & goddesses and other mythical creatures. Ancient Egypt as a country in WS would also lend itself to a great dark ride.

In general, more rides that a chicken like me can enjoy!

I would like to see them use the Dinosarurs vehicles , but design it better like the indiana jones ride in Disneyland. Perhaps a Herbie the Love Bug ride.

Heck with just a ride - I would like Disney to build another park - themed with all the villians and be more of a thrill park but with all the theatrics that make Disney World attractions the best!

The possibilities are endless...

Have fun dreaming!! I actually sent them some suggestions about 5 years ago. You get a nice letter back from the legal department saying they can't even read any unsolicited ideas. But its fun to imagine!!!:teeth:

In Animal Kingdom, I would like an area with the theme of Australia.
In MGM, I was amazed at the amount of people just hanging out (including myself) in the area of TOT & RnR. Even though these are 2 popular rides, there are a lot of people who can't or don't want to ride these rides. Except for the Beauty & the Beast show, there are no rides or shows that are close enough to entertain all of these people while they are waiting for other people in their group to finish these rides. I would like to see some kind of continuously loading ride (like Peter Pan) somewhere in this area. Maybe it could be some kind of 101 Dalmation ride.

There are alot of good ride possibilities but IMO, I'd like to see more characters in other parks besides just MK. Granted, it has been about 14 years since I've been to Epcot, 8 since I've been to MGM but I just dont recall seeing any Disney characters there. I even watched our home movies recently and didnt see ANY. They didn't even seem like "Disney" parks to me. They have no where near the magic that MK has. I havent been to AK but will be visiting in about 2 weeks and plan to go to all 4 parks. I'm VERY excited but always wondered why - since they are all Disney parks - there wasnt more characters at them (MGM & Epcot). Maybe things have changed now though.

Welcome to the DIS!

You can now see tons of characters at Studios and AK, and Epcot features a bus load that arrives for character greetings daily.

I think it would be neat to see a ride that included the classic characters of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc. Mickey's Philarmagic is one of my favorite things just because of how much we see the classic characters.

A princess ride would be neat too.

I'd like to see a coaster with a Monsters Inc. theme.

It would be one of those coasters that your feet dangle. The ride vehicle would resemble a door and your "mission" on the ride would be to rescue Boo.

Just dreamin though!
