We will be cruising on our wedding cruise in October.

I am making "High Tea" ressies at Palo for the ladies on day two, but am at a loss for an "event" that the men can do. Do you guys have any ideas of what the men can do together while the ladies are having tea? It will be a Sunday, so I think Football will be in full swing. Perhaps a sports lunch at one of the cafe's so they can watch football?

When my dd and I want to do something girly, dh and ds go play basketball or shuffle board. You could hit Diversions and get some appetizers and drinks while you watch football.

There's always the "Sit by the Mickey Pool and check out the hot mama's" event...:cool2:...so I've heard....

:rotfl2: My partner would definitely not be declining an invitation like that!

Don't forget that DCL do a beer tasting session too ... :drinking1

Not on any of the Disney Cruises I've been on.:scared1: I was expecting to see Richard Simmons run out at any minute.
:lmao:

Which ship? If it Magic or Wonder then I would second the Diversions suggestion. It is very "manly" and they usually have finger food out. I am sure if you talk to guest services you can arrange for some real food to be brought in there (for a fee). We once "rented" out the whole ESPN Club for a party for my DD and paid to have some beverages and snacks brought in. Problem was no one paid any attention to the "Private Party" sign and random people would come in and take the food and snacks from the tray and sit down to watch the big TV screens....they were perplexed when they saw a DVD of my daughter's life from birth through H.S. put to music!!!

The Dream has some nice lounges onboard....I would choose Meridian or Skyline Bar for a guy get together.

Grab a pizza from Pinocchios and go to Diversions. Watch sports, drink beer, eat pizza. Does it get any better than that (while keeping things PG)? ;)

Yep...until they open a 'Tilted Kilt at Sea', these are your best options. :)

I did the beer tasting back in January and really enjoyed it. They might something like that. You could probably set a special one with guest services to coincide with the football games

The only problem is that most of the guys (except one) don't drink.

Oh, they'll drink on a special occasion. However they don't feel the need to get plastered or have a drink in hand to have fun. They are grown up enough to not need to do that.

Being previously married to an alcoholic, I find traveling with DH's family really nice now. I don't have to worry about him making an **** of himself, puking all over himself, or ruining my trip. He doesn't need a beer or drink to have fun, or become a rowdy someone he isn't. Trust me, its no fun being at a special occasion with a spouse, carrying them to the car, home and putting them to bed, and then going wash the puke from inside your car and from on their clothes. Not really romantic or fun. I've spent enough time changing diapers and spit up on baby clothes, I don't need to do it for an adult.

I'll stick with my man who doesn't drink. Much more fun.

It seems that people equate fun with drinking....I say drink all you want (to those who can), just don't make a spectacle of yourselves and don't let the children see you having fun so they don't "learn" that the only way to enjoy an activity is to add alcohol....

now....get ready for some flames!

I think that is great, people who can have fun without getting drunk!

However, if the beer tasting is anything like the wine tasting, it really is a *tasting*, and they don't give you tons of alcohol. I'd call DCL and ask them.

Or maybe you could talk DCL into setting up a dessert tasting for the men...
