We have approximately 20 girls plus 10-15 parents coming down in 2 weeks for a girl's High School Basketball tournament at the Wide World of Sports. Any recommendations on places to eat for the entire team? My thoughts....Biergarten, Cape May, Chef Mickey's. Any other ideas or are any of these a bad idea? Thanks in advance.

At this point, I doubt that you will find any openings/availability for a group that size for a table service meal at any time of day on WDW property.

Depending upon what park you will be in...you will most likely be doing counter-service meals. One of my family's favorites is Flame Tree Barbecue in AK.

With that amount of people you're not going to have any availability at any restaurant unless you're at a CS restaurant (even then, you'll have issues with finding places to sit at the popular CS'). I know for a fact that in two weeks Chef Mickeys and Cape May are booked solid. It's when we're going. The size of your party would require a larger area such as Private Dining.

Welcome to the DIS
Unfortuantely, you are most likely out of luck.
Disney Dining opens ADR's 180 in advance. Folks have been making reservations since June. Most, if not all, Table Service restaurants book to capacity far in advance. They do not keep tables for walk ins.
It would always be difficult to seat 35, but in the weeks leading to Christmas with only 2 weeks warning, it is most likely impossible.
Your only chance is to call Group Dining, and see if there are any openings left at some of the resort restaurants.
Good Luck, you are going to need it.

Your only possible option would be to contact Disney Group Sales and Catering to get a private meal in a Resort (or possibly Park) function room. Call the Main Switchboard at 4907-824-2222. Note that more than likely you want to do only one meal like this.

To get any table service/buffet reservations right now for two weeks out is slim to none. To get a reservation for thirty to thirty-five is impossible.

(And I was just at a group dinner for 90 yesterday at DHS. This was initially set up over six months ago and we had to have our prepayment in a month in advance.)

some of the less popular restaurants might be able to handle your group, but they may not be convenient... i would try breaking the groups down into say 3 groups of 12 or 4 groups of 8 and attempt to find ADRs that way... i know when we were looking for short-notice reservations, we were able to find Tusker House in AK every day for dinner... so i would start w/a smaller group and make multiple reservations for times close together...

You could also try some of the Downtown Disney restaurants & those in the Swan or Dolphin. I agree that you most likely won't find anything for a group that size in the parks, & at most Disney hotels. If you go at an off time, you can probably get seated at T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe. Naturally, you'll have to sit at separate tables, but I'm sure you expect that. Both of these restaurants have a fun theme. Raglan Road may be possible at off times too. You could try calling all these restaurants directly & setting up a reservation. They don't book all their ADRs through Disney, so you may get lucky. Planet Hollywood & Wolfgang Puck Cafe may also be possible at off times.

For a character meal, you could try Garden Grove at Swan resort. For burgers & ice cream, try Fountain restaurant at Dolphin resort. Fountain is similar to Beaches & Cream. I'm not sure what their seating capacity is though. S/D have other restaurants you may be interested in also. You can easily access them from Epcot or DHS. I would try calling the S/D directly to make an ADR for that many people.

Good luck finding something. I know you'll have a great time regardless. I used to travel with sports teams, when my niece & nephew played. We had a lot of fun times.

Appreciate it. Yes, it will be next to impossible to get anything together.
